I think it is great that you allowed classmates.com to post your prom pic on your own site. Most people are not proud of their prom photos, but not you. You're a stud in that tux and your date is one fine honey. Thanks for sharin that blast from the past.

Ah ha! I thought so. I see those ads from time to time. Heaven knows I'd never want my prom photo to get past my Mom's photo album. My Rebecca of Sunnybrook farm prom gown made me look like a milkmaid. Youthful fashion choices......Bad.

Right now all I'm getting is that keep the oceans clean promotion with the Little Mermaid characters. You know, with the picture of Mike's little paramour. The cute little curvy red headed mermaid.

I always disliked the movie, 'cos Disney changed the ending. In Andersen's original story, the little mermaid made a true sacrifice to earn her heart's desire.

In the movie, she was a spoiled, arrogant brat who never had to endure any consequences for her bad decisions and willful behavior. She got everyone around her to bail her out of every bad situation and frankly, I pity her prince.

He's gonna rue the day he met her.

Ultimately, I think Ariel is a terrible role model for little girls, teaching them that a flash of your cute li'l shells and a precious lip bite will cause other people to make everything right for you, over and over again. Bah.

My hair was very short too. I had 18 inch extensions dyed black and Dark blue and little stobe lights too. I spent more on my hair than my dress. Actually with all my different colors I had in High School I paid more for hair dye than clothes. You could have borrowed some of my curves, I had way too many and at that time I was going through my goth stage so I had no tan to speak of...

Yes bad fashion choices all around.

Everybody makes fun of my Prom pix because my date forgot to polish the dullish brown shoes he decided to wear with his tux, while I had long, blonde extensions added to my coif, and a very short dress (with red stilettos).

It made a memorable picture, thank you very much.

My prom was svvvvcky. I got conned into going with someone I didn't want to go with, and I won't bore you all with the details, but if they are any pictures in existence, they are of me in the back yard by myself in a borrowed dress before meeting up with my "date." With flowers brought to me by girlfriends of mine because they knew he wouldn't provide any flowers, which he didn't.

I looked cute, though, before the whole evening went down the cr@pper!
