DJMC, this is great! Thanks for posting it!

Mike is so cute, and I'm sooo jealous of his "girlfriend"!

Could you possibly find a video of his "escape" to Rehoboth Beach, DE? I visit there every year, and I was wondering if he stayed at the Boardwalk Plaza Hotel? My family stays there over the Thanksgiving holiday, and it's as romantic a place as I've ever seen.

What to say? So much material to work with, I'm rather overwhelmed. I don't know where to start. Talk about extreme ends of the spectrum. I like the hazmat waste and dirt better than the wine and roses.

Oh, darling Mike and in WHITE SHOES no less! Is there anything this man has not gotten to do? We have balloon rides around here, but I have heard of a lot of accidents, so am afraid to go. I wonder if Mike's remark in the HP video about 'Romantic Vacations" is a nod to this show he did? Thanks so much for finding this.

OMG! That was hilarious! He was so preppy looking! And that soft "romantic" inflection in his voice.I almost choked on my coffee.I love to see the sarcasm that is constantly behind his eyes and that cheesy grin. Excellent!
Shari that you soooo much for draggin that one out.
I'm sure Mike will be thrilled.

Oh my Goodness! The hair, the clothes...the soft, gentle, "I'm talking to little fuzzy bunnies" voice! I almost wouldn't have recognized him.

Then there was the occassional bad joke and aside to the camera, nice to see somethings haven't changed Big Grin

Oh my. There is so much to comment on. But I will refrain. For it was years ago and well, we all dressed and wore our hair differently and we're all embarassed about those pictures now.

The only thing I will say though, is it's nice to see that Mike is still Mike. He hasn't changed much (better dresser) and still jokes around.

Interesting find, DJModChickie. Thanks.

Mike's sense of humour seems the same but I think he has definitely gotten better with age.

The show was extremely "slow paced" wasn't it...good for a rainy Sunday afternoon...
The scenery is lovely and he must have gone to a great number of really, really nice places ...but...

Mike,
How on earth did you keep that outfit white?...no D!ckies..hardly recognized him.

Croquet?...
Like Taz said ...Where's the "POO" in that?....??

Trying to figure out which was filled with more hot air, Mike or the Balloon?

"No rest for the Wicked", guess you have eaten those words, huh?

Caribbean Odysseys with Mike Rowe, hmmm!

Oh priceless! I just HAD to log on to comment to this.

Where to start... where to start.

Let this be a lesson. I would imagine that this is what DJ would look like with a female cohost.

ZZZZZZZ!

Anyway, the whole time I was listening to Mike's voice narrate this, I was thinking, "So, this is what he'd sound like reading a bedtime story."

I'm sorry Mike, but the last thing I thought of when I was watching this was romance. You were there, she was there, but there was no touching... no chemistry.

Darn men! Why do they get better looking with age.

ROTFLMAO!

I couldn't finish watching this. I'm at work and I'm afraid I'll laugh myself into unemployment!

But look at the skinny preppiness and poofy hair! Yes, Rowe has definitely gotten better with age.

Poo with a purpose, my friend. Poo with a purpose. Had poo played an integral part in this particular show, we'd be in some freaky German fetish territory.

Now everyone sing with me!

Mike Rowe, "I love you just the way you are!"

Peace Love and Cheese

HAHAHAHA!

Ohh the fashion of the 90s.

So glad I know the present-day Mike instead of the Romantic Escapes Mike. Sorry Mike, but like a fiiiiine wine, you get better looking with age.

Dana.
