As I was driving through Texas, I saw cotton fields as far as the eys can see. They use these huge bailing machines to harvest the cotton but is seems as if the machine leaves a good amount of the cotton behind.
Wouldn't it be cool for you to show your audience where most of their clothes and products come from with this raw material. Perhaps you can even harvest some by hand. From what I hear it can be very painful after awhile.
I met two of these farmers and they work very hard for not so much money but they do it because they love farming.
Also...have you ever tried to create a football field. The painted part with the lines, the team logo and the numbers? It is a very dirty job but a fun one. I used to do that when I was younger.
I am sure you can find any high school or college that would let you um...er...help paint a football field. It is very cool to see the finished product.
Not to sound like the big Dirty Jobs nerd that I am,but...Mike was supposed to harvest cotton but missed the date and went with Campbell Fox and the rice mill episode.

You're right Harold. At least that's what I recall Mike said at the beginning of that rice episode. I was just going to remind Lisa of that myself.
And there's nothing wrong with being a DJ nerd Harold. I mean- you are the guy with all those nice spread sheets so...
