So we're coming back from a long weekend.(hope everyone had a good one). I walk in to work at 6:30 all refreshed and ready to start a new week. I hadn't even put down my purse when my driver tells me the cart full of mail flipped over in the truck. Grrreaaat!
So I clock in, turn on my computer, then take a look at the carnage inside the truck.
We got everything off loaded, but instead of a 5 minute off load it took 45 minutes. Now I ready to go home. Ppfftt!

Anyone else stuggling this morning?

So far everything is going smoothly, but the day is young.

Mondays are always hard. I really think there
should be 3 day weekends. It usally takes me till Sunday to relax. I just one more day off.

My day started the same way. Got up this morning in the dark. It was freezing cold. I just did not feel like working today. Luckily the courier company made a delivery. My Dirty Jobs dvds from Amazon. Now I REALLY want the time to fly. I am going to hold my own marathon tonight. Don't worry Nicole, the day might still hold a few pleasant surprises. You never know. My day is almost over, its already almost 4pm.

Karen
PS A 3 day weekend would work for me too.

It's especially brutal due to the fact that July is our "peak" month, so we're extra busy. Especially on Mondays. Most especially on Mondays following a three-day weekend.

(Brutal is relative, though...it won't be that bad a day. It will just seem like it's that bad. I think once I find a cup of coffee, I should be fine.)

I just drove back from Bethlehem where I was supposed to work a morning of hard labor. Hmmm, nobody shows at the job site so I drove all the way back home to sit in front of this computer. A waste of my time, gas and money.

Hmph

Trying very hard not to scream, "I AM SO BORED," right in the middle of my prof's lecture.

He's a good professor, too. There's nothing in the world wrong with this class. I'm just coming down off a weekend of junk food (I try to control my diet normally to keep my brain in focus), and I'm still angsty about the relationship thing, and things are just basically uncool.

I hope I get back into the "swing" soon.

*snore*

Sometimes a long weekend is not necessarily a good thing for it can make a Monday last forever!

My day has been smooth thus far, but as someone before me pointed out, the day isn't over.

Thank goodness, my day is over. Going home smiling with my DJ dvds under my arm. It was like having Christmas in July when they arrived.

Enjoy the rest of your day MB'ers. Hope you have a lovely one!

My day is just getting started...oh joy. I was supposed to be in at 8am. After a long weekend out of town and a late arrival home last night...8am turned into 11:30am. Now I get to work late to make up for it....Ain't life grand.
