I am over the butterflies and ready as I am ever going to be for my journey across this beautiful country of ours.
I hope to be able to find wifi in most places but I will be camping at a lot of my stops to save moola. Thanks to those of you who have helped by letting me stay with you. I can't wait to see yall!
critter...you ROCK!
I'm skeered...but I am not going to let that stop me. Please say a prayer for me with a safe, healthy and prosperous trip. I will work hard to make something happen.
I'm pleased to be the first one to wish you a safe trip! What an opportunity this will be for you, not only to "sell" your hummingbird feeder, but also to meet some friends from the mud room. Wish I was going with you!
Be sure and be prepared for snow, in any mountain range you may cross. We don't want 'no Donner stories'! Carry chains and extra food just in case. Even though it is early yet, you never know.....Be safe!
Lisa, I have been out of the loop for awhile so not sure what route you are taking or how long you will be on your journey. However, here is hoping for a safe and very enjoyable journey!
I am staying to the south for this trip following the hummingbird migration so I do not think I will encounter the "s" word. My car is in good shape and is good in the "s". I am a hardy New Englander-)
Godspeed Lisa I am definitely along with you and you stay safe. Never stay anywhere you don't feel safe and never sleep in your car. You can always go to a church . Come see me . I am worse than a Mother. Beth drove cross country but she stayed in motels both ways . Let us know where you are headed.
I haven't been here in a while either. How exciting for you! If you happen to wander around down by Houston let me know. You can always stay here if you need a place.
Good luck and I am praying for great success!!!!!!
mother mo here. review your check list. Car gassed, oil checked. All packed. List of emergency numbers. Lap top packed with charged in place. Munchies and bottled water.
Good luck, good wishes and lots and lots of sales.
If you get lonely call me and we can pass the time while you plan your moves and stradegies.
Harold I don;t have time to tell you everything-) I am going from Connecticut to California selling my Hummingbird Feeders in the south during the migration.
Lisa, good luck! sounds exciting! As a cops wife I have to say it- be safe, be aware of your surroundings.ok I think I'm done. sell those feeders! you rule!_ Angela
We'll be riding along in spirit Lisa. Vaya con Dios.
Critter, When I hear that song, I think of you and my son. You with your toes in the clay and @ss in the lawnchair up at the lake. My son with the PBR...when the $$ gets tight at the end of the week, that's what he will buy. It's amazing what songs will make you think of.
Lisa, hope you brought your laptop like I said. Thought about you today and where you will be laying down your head tonight. Remember what Mike says about those 1 1/2* motels. DON'T touch the remote!!
