Jorey sweet Jorey,
I apologize for the chorus of crying babies and tell John Henry that I think he is a pretty cool kid. Make sure you take him kite flying with those miniature kites since I did not get a chance with the rain to take them.
The pumpkin chocolate chip cookies are gone and I enjoyed each and every one of them. The weather is much better, in fact I got one heck of a sunburn on my face because I didnt have enough sense to get out of the sun while working. It was warm and that was all I thought about, hence the sunburn.
Today is supposed to be the busiest day and the weather is to be nice. Yea!
A man with a dirty toilet set us shop next to me and boy was it stinky. Lucky for me he decided to move his booth so I have the air to myself today. This place is so big, it's like a shopping mall.

A man with a gift shop wants to carry my product in his store...network, network, network-) Tonight Cupcake realized that we are no longer in Ar-Kansas.Tomorrow I will pack everything up and head to Amarillo and then Arizona, perhap I will swing back up to Sedona. I'm packing up and leaving for Amarillo in the morning. Met so many Pastors that blessed me with prayers that I am certainly covered for the next treck.
Canton was a bit dissapointing but I did learn things...I think. Moving on with at least half of my product...Yikes!
Tonight is going to be all R & R with a twist-)
Mike...got any of those "encouragement" sticks?

Lisa, remember that you never know what tomorrow or next week will hold! Success often comes with lots of work and some disappointments. Be proud of yourself and how hard you are working Thanks for keeping us up to date with where you are (love the pictures!) and how it's going. And, honey...don't forget the sunscreen! Ouch! debi

Hi Debi, You know... The weirdest thing just happened. There was this guy named Anthony who had a very nice booth indoors who must have noticed my stupid sunburn and brought me some of his shea butter product to put on my face. I actually met him the first day when he bought from me. Well he told me that he loved my feeders and wants to carry them in his gift shop south of here and...that he would like to present it to the board of education that he is a member of to see if they can use this as a fundraiser for their school. I always thought of my product as a fundraiser...wow. I am not getting my hopes up but there is reason for things that happen. weird huh? Full Moon over Canton Texas Lisa <perhaps?>

My last venue is in Santa Barbara but having problems getting in there cuz I am not a resident. My Sis lives there and may be able to get me a spot but we will see what happens.
Off to Amarillo and then Phoenix.

Well yesterday was an adventure. I spent most of the day driving through New Mexico ans stopping by a few of the big gift shops off the highway and meeting some of the native Americans. I had some of their fried bread and it was yummy-) The reservations are huge.
I took a wrong turn at Albuquerque and messed up finding my hotel in Phoenix. Ended up passing Phoenix and staying in Goodyear AZ. I am leaving early to get through the Mojavi before it gets too hot...yea right.
Got a full tank of gas a case of water...and I should be in California by tonight! Yea.
Karen, I am trying to get into the Santa Barbara event for next Saturday. I would love to see you and thank you in person if you have the time. I also need to be in LA to meet my Atty if you are close to that area. Hope to see you.

I made it to sunny California and the drive was very nice. New Mexico was an adventure with stopps at many of the Trading posts to introduce myself.
The moon was full over the Mojavi and I left early enough so that the heat was not bad at all.
I did panick for a moment when I approached an agricultural checkpoint and thought I may be crossing into Mexico but all was well and they just flagged me through.
Santa Barbara is still as beautiful as I remember and Santa Maria is just as wonderful. My Sister's home is set among many farms and vinyards and you can see the ocean from here.
Time for a bit of R&R and a hot tub-) Ahhhh.
Life is good...
Lisa <grateful for life>

There are enough of those tarantulas around harold. That is why I will not be camping in those areas...and rattlsnakes.
I could not get into the Santa Barbara Craft Fest so I will be in Nipomo at a swap meet this weekend. My last gig before I head back home.
I am going strait to Sedona AZ from here and taking a different track home...but...stopping at Jorey's again for a night of good food-)
Jorey...let me know if there is anything I can pick up for you!

Hey Lisa,
That sign you shot is much easier to see than the one Mike and the guys found way back when. Guess no chance of you making snow angels in the mountains. Considering camp grounds....you look refreshed, rested and nice color. A little frightened maybe in one picture, but I'm sure you're having a great time. How is the PR coming along. Going to San Fran by chance? At least to the office in LA? BARSKY!! wish I were with you!!

Lisa, nice photo of you and "Bear-sky"!!!! Bwahaha! Not so nice photo of the spider. Many years ago a friend of mine was stationed at Ft. Hood and on his way home on leave, he stopped by for a visit. He took me out to see his motorcycle and his "passenger," a tarantula!! It was in a jar, and I informed him that upon arriving at his home if it was no longer in the jar I did not want to know about it! We had a sleet/thunderstorm last night. A sure sign winter is on the way. So, enjoy your time in sunny California! Liz

Oh Harold...that was just ferocious me. The spider was not that big but it gave me the stink eye.
Momac...no I am not going that far north as I am going to hug the warmer weather for the trip back home.
