A month ago you started a thread about summer things, gave me some great ideas for entertaining my nieces, and asked me to share how it went.
It has went well actually. Turns out keeping the girls out at the lake, dragging them behind the boat works wonders. I have only had to spend one day at the mall.
Aeropostale, Limted Too, Gap, gag, double gag!... But they enjoyed it. Anyway, thanks for your suggestions, and just letting you know I survived. I also haven't been here...but I survived that as well. (I only have about 56 emails to respond to so no worries!)
Kristi
P.S. Still watched After the Catch...made them watch too. It was payback.
Kristi, Good to hear you had a ggod time and survived!!! Dragging them behind the boat is a brillant idea!!!! I haven't been on the message board to much either, on account that the girls are home for summer so I am trying to keep them busy as possible. No boat here, so I have to think of other ideas!! Glad it went well!! Did they like After the Catch?? Enjoy the rest of your "quiet" summer!! Melissa

Kaitlyn likes Mike so it was fine...the other two just sat and watched and kept asking me "what does that mean?"
Although I came home from work on the morning of July 5th and Kaycee (my niece) said "aunt Kris" we watched Mike yesterday. I felt justified. Of course they still think Zac Efron is hotter. (yeah we had that conversation...shoulda seen my husband clear the room for that one!)
Anyway, it actually was a lot of fun to spend time with them and see them all grown up so to speak. It was weird but also very cool.
We didn't do make-up day because honestly I am not a make-up kinda gal, but they braided my unruly hair (and laughed their butts off) and spent so much time in the water (between the lake and the pool) that I was worried they may develop webs.
My summer may not be the same. Hope you and your girls have had a good time. Smack Jeremy for me...on Principle ya know...
Kristi, I hear ya with the Zac thing, we just got done watching "High School Musical" the movie AND the concert for the million gazzilionist time! I know all the songs and I really don't want to know them. As far as Smacking Jeremy, no problem I think I can handle that!!
