hey i was wondering what you think mike likes better cats or dogs, i have 2 cats, ones stupid and jumps 4 feet in the air just to nail its head up against a window. And it will keep doing that untill we let in. so wich do you like better and wich do you think mike likes, better???
i am allergic to cats but when i do my home brew deliveries and people have a cat and it is friendly to me i always give it a pet . then my eyes stream and my nose runs
i am a major fan of dogs . for the first 30 years of my life we had 3 airdale terriers (one after the other) . our last one was out to sleep a year ago this month as she was suffereing from extreme old age and was in and out of a coma . it would have been unfair to keep her alive . even our vet said that much .
actually when i used to work in the shop my dad ran i was know in the area as the lady who pets all the dogs !
I have the sweetest little tabby kitty. Especially if I've had a hard day, she is a good cuddler. Also she keeps mice away.
BUT - LOL, I do have the smartest dog ever! Shes a pound find. She understands whole sentences like, "Do you want to go for a ride in the car to get some food?" She LOVES that. I love working in the yard, flower & vegetable garden, she actually goes out and helps me. She a good friend.
I like both, but can understand why Mike and other people say Dogs rule.
Now, my sister has ferrets - I can NOT figure that at all.
There's not much out there funnier than a cat ending up in trouble...their reactions just absolutely crack me up. I wish no harm to a cat, but I literally laugh when they do, well, what they do when their curiosity gets the better of them. Even right now just thinking about some of the stuff I've seen, gets me laughing. At least a dog doesn't cruise around like he/she has the world all figured out. Cats..........lol........don't really like em, but love it when they react freaky in a situation they put themselves in. I did meet one very cool cat in my life that I would be proud of. Anyway, am I still talking....? Shutup already!....lol
We had a black lab/cocker spaniel mix from the pound. Funniest d@mn dog I've ever met. And sassy...he actually talked back to you. You would tell him no, and he would "roh, roh, roh" or what not back at you. If my dad was working on the car and ignoring him, he'd steal the tools and lay out in the middle of the driveway and chew on them till dad came to get them. He was also part goat I think. Ate anything and everything, including horse apples. Never had another one like him. Sigh...I miss that dog.
Hey there Farmboy...as a LVT i get to work with cats and dogs all day, but i must say i prefer dogs too! I love cats dont get me wrong, but dogs have the greatest personalities!!
Why choose one or the other? Everything is better when you have a cats and dogs to make you laugh, make messes, get you clothes covered in fur, and hog all the space on the bed.
i was never a fan of cats. they seem to be self-sufficient and don't need you for anything unless maybe they're hungry. so what's even the point of having them. oh and they can be vicious-they'll turn on you in a hot minute.
dogs on the other hands-three simple words are self explanatory:
I have both as well, and I prefer cats. It's that combination of cute and straight up psychotic mess that I find so alluring. This and the ability to actually sod off instead of constantly being up my nose. I would also like to debunk the myth that cats are aloof. I've never had a better friend in time of need. When I'm at a low point or ill in bed, the cats never fail to come and comfort me. A soft, rumbling furnace on a cold night is a wonderful thing. Endlessly amusing creatures, one of my boys is getting up there in years and he'll snooze and then just fall off of whatever surface he's resting on. Especially good for a giggle if he's chosen something higher up, like the tall aquarium. He never loses decorum, he'll tumble off with a thwack! on the hardwood floor, seem to give me a regal sniff and sh00ts me a look as if to say "Don't you dare laugh human, I meant to do that, is it not obvious?" They're such givers too, apparently I am protein deficient, as witnessed by the embarrassing amount of carcasses on my porch at times. Bottom line for me though is love what you love, pets are good friends, and having a pet lowers your blood pressure and provides company.
