That was a change for the good Mike.

Jana!!!!!! Yeah!!! You're back!

I will now start calling you Pinky Dinky Doo. If your kids watch Noggin, you know who I'm talking about.

I will have to agree with Jana on the beanie assessment...............the man has WAY to big of a melon to be sportin' one of those kind of hats. I love the baseball caps, or even his hoodie looked cute last night.

Mike,
Along with having your crew on the jobs.............I think we will all pitch in to hire you a wardrobe consultant to be on the jobs with you. You will be dressed in style my friend!

I'll start the pot......I've got about $.28 in my couch I can dig up and a nifty snapple cap that says "strawberries are the only fruit whose seeds grow on the outside". That's got to be worth something.

Anyone else.............it's a worthy cause.

Sal,

I was going to suggest that we start a clothing drive for Mike!

I have several bags of clothing I was planning to take to Goodwill, but perhaps I should send them to Mike instead! There's even a t-shirt that says "In our house, cat hair is a condiment." Think he'd like that? *giggle*

Dearest Jana, or [Jayna],

I'm sorry (not really), but I too like the beanie. Yes I do! Nice breake from all those hats.

Actually, I'm hoping for a comeback of the beanie made from yak or bison wool, worne so briefly in the 150th ep. It look mighty fine atop someone's head!

sio

Ps: I also feel the need to add that I do like the rather infamous coat worne whilest filming ice-skating crew in the crew cruise ep. Yes I do.

(And also, nice to 'see' you posting again Jana! (Or is it Jayna - I forget which it is)

I'm NOT suggesting that you wear nice things, just visually pleasing things. The Dickies and Duluth Trading Co. catalogues are FULL of practical yet aesthetically acceptable Man-wear.

Don't you mean, 'TIE.' I only remember ONE in all those QVC vids. I remember thinking, "Poor Mikey. They didn't even pay him enough to buy more than ONE tie."

Please tell me you didn't give away the gold Man-bracelet! Not that I liked it... but, have you SEEN the price of gold lately! That huge thing is worth at least $50K! I graduated from high school in '93. Just thought I would mention that... you know, to make you feel old.

I prefer lumberjack in a baseball cap... that is, if you are asking.

Hard to say what's next, Jana. Maybe spats will make a comeback?

Liz stole my Zoot Suit line.

Spats? Then you would look like Scrooge McDuck.

How about suspenders?

I for one think you would look rather precious in suspenders over a heavily starched, white shirt... a 1950 Pulp Fiction detective... Raymond Chandler kinda look---

Where am I again?
Oh sorry.
Lord,it's hot.

Jana
PS Mike- T, text-ed (is that a word?) that you answered me... may I say, it's not wise to squeal in the grocery store. There was an unusual amount of single men in the produce section today.

I have to agree with the "beanie" loving bunch. In New England, we call it a Watch Cap and it's worn from about mid Nov through... sometimes Early May. I find them to be very attractive on men.

I would pay money to never see the Gator Egg Gathering "cowboy" hat again.

The turtlenecks: I love the Gorton's one, but the Daily show Tneck/Blazer combo is one outfit that I hope never, ever makes a re appearance.

I join Jana in my admiration of the "needed a haircut last week" style that Mike occasionally sports. sigh... my dh - though of distinctive hair color - wears a Coast Guard cut. bleah...

Now if Dickies would only send Mike pants one size smaller .....

Personally, I like him nearly naked as the day he was born. Well, not quite as the day he was born. There has been a few improvements since then.

Susan - You are not dumb. No way!

Spats are leather or cloth coverings for the instep and ankle, usually white in color, with buttons up the side. Then again, Mike could've referenced the other kind of spats, brief and petty arguments, kinda similar to what can occur on this message board. (Did I just type that? Yes I did.)

Now, Jana that's not fair. I watched "the Most" and Mike had more than one tie.

One suit... but more than one tie! Big Grin

Didn't the suspenders make an appearance on the Most? I thought I remember seeing them once and I blacked out.

You gotta love a guy who can carry off suspenders!

A fedora... we need to get Mikey in a fedora.

Fleur

P.S. Jana, white starched shirt and suspenders? Sounds like the uniform de rigeur of someone I've met before!

Since the "TOQUE" is the official head gear here in Canada, I just thought I'd clear up the spelling faux pas that is running rampant on the MB.

And as far as Mike in a turtle neck, I'm with the majority it seems.....looks good to me.

It seems everyone is forgetting-clothes don't really make the man...the MAN makes the clothes and in Mike's case they all look good....well except for that "pumpkin" shirt fiasco and there was that hot pink episode but we're over that now....right!!

Hi Jana,
We've never really been properly introduced have we since you seemed to have dropped off the MB very shortly after I started posting. Glad to see you're up to posting again. I know how health problems can sap one's youth and vigour. It appears you have bounced back well. I'm guessing your husband was a great source of strength and support. I sincerely hope you happily married women on the MB all take a few moments each day and thank the powers that be for your secure, loving relationships.

Oh and Jana, if you continue to be forgetful, disorientated , it could be a sign of early onset Alzheimer's disease and you absolutely have to get it checked out. Now as far as those hot flashes ....well you probably take something already....right?

Anyway take care of yourself and don't be a stranger.
