Hi Dani, I like this question. I think how people describe themselves in terms of dwarfdom is very telling.
Personally, I am truly Bashful and over all I would say for the most part I am Happy too....some might say a little too happy sometimes. Also, since I am in the medical field and am known as the go to person(for all the answers) where I work, I often feel like Doc. Then of course there's the fact that I work steady midnights and am chronically Sleepy which in turn makes me Grumpy and Dopey a lot of the time.
I guess it would have been easier to say which of the dwarfs I am not like....aye.
grasshopper .....really needing my pebbles this morning...
Like grasshopper I think I'm a little bit of each one but I can identify myself more with Happy because of my cheerful personality. People always say I'm bubbly and I laugh a lot. That's why they can tell right away when I'm not in a good mood.
I'm really not just one of them, or even mostly like one of them. I'll have to go with a cross between Doc and Bashful, with a bit of Dopey thrown in. The decision maker, the hopeless sentimentalist, and the...dopey.
Loretta, Glad you and others enjoyed link I found. DH was given Grumpy shirt for Father's day abput 15 years ago. I am more the Happy type. I little goofy.
I think I'm most like Dopey; a bit silly, head in the clouds, and sometimes it takes me a second to realize what's happening around me. Dopey, however, has the endearing quality of silence whereas I never know when to shut up until it's too late.
I wish I could...I wish I could...I wish I could (oh, different Disney movie).
"I wish I could" learn to be Bashful. My attempts at such seem Dopey, because I'm too alert as Doc to pretend to "possess airs" (that would be Sneezy, right?)
You are as guilty as I am, for choosing another film to express your Disney feelings. Bye, Bye, Birdie featured, "Put On A Happy Face", and my dear neighbors, Gail and Ron Anderson, plus the cute tenor Michael Redman, will serenade you with your song on this classic 1981 Welk clip:
Did someone here mention "Goofy"? Another Disney mystery. Why can Goofy talk and Pluto can't? They are, after all, both dogs. I always wanted to watch Goofy take Pluto for a walk. Totally surreal. Then again, a squeaky-voiced mouse having a dog for a pet is pretty weird too.
