Here is my question - and if I've misunderstood something I've read about the case, please correct me. I'm not even talking about the evidence (video from Hardees, shirt and gascan, etc.)...I'm talking about human nature.
A man's wife goes out at 9:00 p.m. or so to find the family dog and he doesn't go with her?
She doesn't come home and the husband assumes she is at work?
I agree with the previous post. And on top of the highly suspect actions of the husband, generally we know that statistically in most of these cases that it IS the husband.
You said you've sat down with the family, David, but what about the husband? Has he done anything further that looks suspicious?
Almost everything he has done looks suspicious. He hasn't searched or offered to search, he has gone about his life as if nothing happened, he sold many of his vehicles shortly after Kelly disappeared, less than 3 months after her disappearance he appears to have a new girlfriend, ..... yeah, lots of suspicious stuff there.
I just started looking at this today, has he been questioned or talked to the kids? I know their young but they remember mommy and daddy fights.Where is this guy now???
I am certainly not an expert or anything but it seems to me that perhaps with the lying about her whereabouts and I read in some article or maybe heard it on one of the videos on the news website that he had given the children to their grandparents to watch. It just seems to me like she could have been killed the night before the day of the fire. If her car was only a mile away from her home they could have ridden out in her car together to talk, get fresh air, whatever and he could have easily walked back to the house. Have any of his friends been questioned? I believe this is a possibility but perhaps the person who vouched for him being at work is an accomplice to a murder. Has anyone received a raise from his company lately? I read that her ashes were not found but is any of this a possibility? That perhaps the body was burned and ashes picked up and scattered miles away? He does own a towing company. It would not be impossible to tow the ashes miles and miles away?
He seems EXTREMELY suspicious. 1) He must have known these searches were going on, and he would know about the K-9 unit, right? I mean, correct me if I'm wrong(I'm only 13 here). Then isn't it possible he could have been the one to mess with the car? Especially if he didn't want her to be found. 2) Also, the car was LOCKED. He would have easy acess to a pair of keys. After all, he was her husband.
Of course, his attitude stinks. Even in a strained relationship, one would hope that if someone went missing, especially with kids involved, the other partner would be CONCERNED! This to me is so unfeeling, it shouts out SOCIOPATH! He probably doesn't think this will ever be solved.

I have the same question....Why did he not go looking for her instead of assuming she was at work??
Skeletal remains where found last week in Rocky Mt., NC. It was reported that the location of the street where the remains were found is right off of the Tar River. That is down river from Stem NC. Could this be Kelly Currn Morris? So far as I know, gender has not been determined.
I got nothing. Evidently it can take weeks to identify remains. I'm sure for a medical examiner it may be like trying to find a needle in a haystack, comparing remains to all the missing people. And what if there are other cases in front of it? I wonder how many cases the medical examiner works on at one time?
Tonight I passed through Creedmoor on the way home, saw a big poster of Kelly on a corner. I'm wishing and hoping that this is solved soon, I'm sure as many others are. There's got to be a way. Fear often keeps people from doing the right thing. The problem with that is that they close themselves off from anything good or beneficial coming into their life...Rest assured, there is no happy outcome here, but this family needs to have their beloved one back.
As I drive thru Creedmoor, I too see all the signs with Kelly's picture. He sees her picture everyday when he leaves his driveway, no matter which direction he takes. How does he see her face everyday, look in her child's face everyday and live with himself. Are you aware that he has been selling items on craigs list? The box sold with kelly's name and address on it might just be his down fall. Is there a postmark and will it show that it was received prior to 9/3/08? If so, will this prove items were removed from the house prior to the fire? Will his aol account (requested in most recent warrant) give investigators what they need. Rumor has it that he has not been seen in several weeks.
