Sorry Guys, but you cant tell me you got a total interior and exterior paint job, a landscaping job, a dumpster, a pest inspection and interior clean up all for $3750.00 as suggested in the show I watched on TLC tonight. I don't care whos strings this guy Richard thinks he can pull, you just cant get contractors to do things as cheap, as quick and at the drop of a hat as the show suggests. It just aint happenen
Trademark uses the same contractors over and over again and do jobs much faster than "normal" home remodeling/construction projects. So my belief is that they cut their rates (quite a bit) in exchange for regular work and for the publicity that might come from being featured on the show.
"Normal" people won't get those same rates, you're right.
Sure its possible to get done what Richard did for $3750. Obviously you didn't wath the show earlier this season where he flipped this same house for about $15000. The reason he flipped it again was because he let the guy who was living in it become a renter. But thats the kind of guy Richard is. He always tries to find the good in people and help them out. The stuff he did in last nights show was just superficial touch ups. Plus he uses the same guys on multiple jobs so he's always gonna get the best rates.

agree with BearPaw...plus using one of his salesmen, Vance, to do the plumbing. But to make it more believable, they said that Vance was a childhood friend or schoolmate.Plus what was the reference to having gotten his brother John on the right track??? Now Richard is in the salvation business.
I didn’t get a chance to see this episode yet but I think you can pull it off. I'm in the mid-west, Indiana to be exact and I have gotten a complete clean out of a property that was completely trashed for $500 including the dumpster drop off and pick up. I’ve gotten pest inspections in the past for under $100. I just talk with my landscaper yesterday about doing some work on a property I put an offer on today and he quoted me $500 including minor stump removal, mulch and miscellaneous plants and flowers. That would leave $2600 for the painting. With Richard’s connections he could easily get the house painted inside and out for $2600. You have to keep in mind that when you are doing as much work as Trademark does in an area, you save money simply because of the volume of work you send someone. Labor workers would much rather work consistently for months at a time at a little lower wage than work a few weeks at higher wages…
The clean up wasn't all that bad and the house was painted a year ago so there was little or no prep work. The cost to paint a well maintained home is significantly cheaper then a home that has not had any maintenance done.
I use the pest control company, shown on the show, and they do have a quick turnaround. I have called them after lunch one day and they have been at my house first thing the next morning. The question I have is why didn't Richard already have a termite bond, with annual inspections, on the house already?
