I am wondering the same thing? They have been replaying old episodes forever, and it looks like repeats up through October. I wish TLC would update their website as well! I hope the show comes back!

I just emailed TLC and asked them if "The Real Estate Pros" was in production. TLC has been playing re-runs for some time. I certainly hope we will learn something soon. Don't give up hope!
If they do come back next season, it will be a show to watch for entertainment purpose only. Please don't take what you seen on these shows seriously. If you do, you will be on your way to losing money on your investment. I would be happy to back up this statment with some examples I have witnessed on the show, but hopefully everyone can see this for what it is. I mean come on now, more people vote for the American Idol contestents than vote for the person who should be president of the United States! Please tell me that this forum does not represent the same mentality!

I emailed Trademark Properties about the show coming back. They said they are filming new episodes right now. Although they did not say when they would start.

Dude! Lighten up! This show is strictly for entertainment. What on earth does American Idol and the Presidential elections have to do with 'The Real Estate Pros'? Nothing! This forum is just to talk about the show, not politics.
I understand that the show is strictly entertainment. I was simply campaining to inform the people who do not see this show as entertainment, will you join me? Look at some of the post on this site. Some are praising this show and wanting to get into the business and do things the same way they see this Richard and Ginger doing it. My position is what you see on the show is not the way to do it. Have you seen a show where everything has gone basically good? I am in the construction business and have some clients who want to flip houses armed with the info they see on these shows.
By the way, these same clients I speak of, vote on American Idol, watch Dr. Phil, watch Opra and cry, and yes, probably vote.
jhall1234... You may be shocked to know this, but there isn't much "fluff" in this show. I grew up and went to school with a lot of Team Trademark. Richard has been well known in Charleston for many years as has many of his employees. His contacts, from contractors to politicians is strong and allows him to "get things done". Now, has he burned some bridges and had hard times? YES, as we all do. Believe it or not....Trademark is "The Real Deal".
I understand what you say. What I am hearing from others is that the show is "entertainment", if this is the case then I can follow why they have so much problems and mismanagment on the show. If it is the real deal as you say, then why all the problems with the contractors? And why is it that Ginger with all her "experience" cannot take charge of these projects? Every job I have seen her manage has been a disaster. I have called her out on previous posts but get no response. Instead I get name calling. If you would like to respond to specific questions I have about what I have witnessed on the show I would be happy to lay them out and we can engage in a respectful debate. I just don't understand, if it was my show, I would have no problem backing up everything I do. I witnessed Richard completing a drywall repair by smearing mud into the crack with his finger. No fiberglass mesh tape, no paper tape, no tools for the job. This show has to be entertainment. But the sad part is some people or as I call them 'Sheeple' are taking notes on how they see these projects being completed and believing that it is the correct way to do things.
Once again, Sorry to spoil a good story with the FACTS. Come on Trademark supporters! Where are you? Come jump in with me... the waters warm! Enter a legit. discussion on what we see on the show, or at least quietly admit to yourself you know the show is a joke and/or entertainment only. It is so sad that sheeple watch this show and and really take it at face value. Oh, and by the way, loyal students and followers of Trademark. Please come to Seattle to do your home purchases, I have my buddy who is the perfect real estate agent for you, he will be happy to sell you one of his many listings so that you can make money too!! Just like Trademark!!
glad to know they might be coming back. I've been a fan since FTH. As for all this other stuff I've been reading on the forum, I dont know what to make of it. Not sure it matters, I'll keep watching.
You dont know me well enough to make a comment like that. My comment was based on your attitude and postings on this board. In fact I shouldnt even respond to you. So as RSVLCHRIS said, go away.
Correct. You should not respond to me or any other persons post, if you have nothing to contribute. This forum is a discussion about the real estate pros tv show, not about a members attitude. I submitted a fair and honest question about how this Richard guy was improperly completing a drywall repair. In the construction business, the way to complete things is whats known as "industry standards". You don't just slap things together and quickly cover it up so you can hide the inferior workmanship. They are then selling these homes to hardworking familys, brother/sisters, grandparents, Young married couples wanting to start a family. Within a year I can Clearly Promise you that much of this inferior work will be falling apart, and guess who will be footing the bill? Not this Richard guy, he's busy counting his money. So is it possible to focus on subject matter pertaining to the show with at least some inherent meaning presented? Or should we post about Ellen Degeneris's hairdressers dog? It this what its come to?
Purple One, I like you, but your busted. I was just surfing this site and saw one of your posts in which you state that you were thinking Ginger "needed a new hair style". You went on to say that you "wanted to give her a mini make-over." Please do not respond to my posts anymore.
In answer to the original question as to whether the show is coming back.. they haven't been filming (no crews to be seen anywhere close to their offices on folly road) since way before the last "new" episode aired on tlc.. i think that maybe this show is officially dead.. Rest In Peace
(my guess is that tlc was a little peeved that the whole season was an infomercial for trademark)

Even if I, as a professional, fix a stress crack in a wall, most likely, it's coming back. Houses move, foundations shift and cracks happen. It doesn't matter how you try to fix it. Or with what. Oh, there are products out there that may help to lengthen the time it takes for a crack to possibly reappear, but they don't guarantee it.
You do know, of course, that one of the acceptable techniques for fixing a stress crack is to apply caulk with your finger, don't you? And then wiping the excess off with a damp rag. Personally, I don't like this method, but it is in a few craftsman manuals.
You are correct about using caulking to repair a stress crack in the wall, I use this method also to repair a stress crack. What this Richard guy was attempting to repair was a drywall patch repair, not a stress crack. The method he was attempting is totally incorrect. But guess what? It looked good when the people bought his house. Thats all that matters right? I really don't know how to respond about your comment about how it "doesnt matter how you try to fix it", the foundation will shift and cracks happen. This may be true in some cases, thats exactly why you should use quality materials and complete the job to industry and local city/county standards. You should be completing a home repair using the best materials with professional integrity. It should be performed as if it was your own house.
Jhall1234, although you might be correct in your conclusions of the show you are getting old. I am sure the few people that are still reading this thread are in agreement with me. First, I will say that there are a lot of steps in the show that we do not see. The show (even though I sometimes like it) is more like a soap opera than a home fix it and sell it show. I am surprised his head fits on my 55" TV screen, he is extremely full of himself. But I think there is a lot of little points he makes that can help people learn some things. Also where Richard makes his money is on the purchase. He does this because he has a large staff behind the scenes looking at 100 homes a day and he might buy 1. This show is not being made to show you or any individual how to properly remodel and flip a house. It is just a reality show about a guy and his company that buys/remodels/and sells houses.

I'm just curious jhall1234, why do you care so much about what the fans of this show think? Seriously, why does their opinion of the whole thing even matter to you? I think you just have a leeeetle too much time on your hands and a few bitterness issues that you need to deal with.
jhall...dont worry, CNN covered Britney's drive to court...that should keep you pinned to the TV for a couple of hours. I do have a question about the 1234...will you ever get to 5! Okay, now back to the real posting of this message: This is just good entertainment, and the folks are great everyday folks...they're not Hiltons, or Spears...not drunks or dopers...just some decent TV for a change...can't wait for them to come back on...I'm a fan!!! Of their "TV" show, get it "TV"...
PLEASE stop teasing us like this! I love the Trademark crew but thought their show was history until tonight when I'm flipping channels and Richard appears! I would love to see more of the team - no matter what they call the show or who carries it. Bring 'em back!
TLC did announce that The Real Estate Pros will return in the fall for the 2009-2010 season. But most interesting will be the fact that Richard and Ginger did get married in April.

Funny that the local paper doesn't mention a word of what would likely have been a celebrity wedding announcement of the year? What I find interesting is that the top-secret peep-hole into the inner sanctum of Trademark Properties has become active again.
If this is true, I'd be happy to congratulate them but without some sort of link to confirm, I suspect this is just another one of those annoying, pesky little rumours.
Originally posted by bmwgirl: It is not a rumor, they were married on 4/10. Check the public record, it is there.
True! Just found it myself, thanks to a tip from a reader on my web site. As one of those people who kept saying, "No, just because you think they're flirting on-camera doesn't mean they have a thing going..." Well, I'll admit I didn't see this coming!
Marriage record information at att.ention.net, which has the quote from the official record at the Charleston County web site.
According to your readers post, Ginger is pregnant! What the hell was she thinking? He's 17 years older and already has a few kids. I can just picture my 23 year old daughter bringing home a guy 17 years older. My hot-tempered Scotsman would put a bullet ..umm, you know where!!
