I wondered if a lot of people have started this since watching Richard's shows or have been doing it already. Making in a few weeks what amounts to a years salary would be worth the work.

Nope. I haven't. Mainly because the real estate market in Western Washington State is insane. 3 bedroom home? Even the fixer uppers are running $300K - $400K. I just don't have that kind of spare cash laying around.

I would love to ,but I don't know where to start. I can see borrowing for the house, but where do you get 50 grand to do the work?
