They acted like they did some great deed. A great deed would have been to help him continue living in his house which he continued to comment on "this was done in 1962". A great deed would have been to give something back to someone who fought for this country so you can do 250 million in revenues and drive Mercedes around. I would also like to add Ginger seems to be the least pretentious and most grounded of them all.

Grateful days post - Did this person watch the show or just hear about it ..The gentleman was already living in a Nursing Home. He and his family had recognized his inability to live alone.
