They acted like they did some great deed. A great deed would have been to help him continue living in his house which he continued to comment on "this was done in 1962". A great deed would have been to give something back to someone who fought for this country so you can do 250 million in revenues and drive Mercedes around. I would also like to add Ginger seems to be the least pretentious and most grounded of them all.

He'd already left his house for a nursing home because his wife had passed away and he didn't want to live there alone.

Their selling the home for him, gave him to dough to pay for the care he wanted.

It is possible to make money and do good.

Grateful days post - Did this person watch the show or just hear about it ..The gentleman was already living in a Nursing Home. He and his family had recognized his inability to live alone.
