I'm sure he did and I'm sure he learned from his mistakes with A&E when he contracted with TLC. All that (TLC negotiations) will come out in trial - as the Judge said he'll "turn over every rock" in that contract negotiation...or something like that. Keep checking the lawsuit site for that.

I also don't think this is a case of the pendulum swinging too far back either and Richard being gun shy. I think either 1) he has a specific reason for delaying at this time or 2) his primary goal is the TV show partners first (ala You Tube) then regular area partners later on down the road when (and if) the TV show novelty wears a bit thinner.

I don't mind if that's his goal - obviously the TV show builds the brand nationally and he has the right to control the direction of the company he built. It would just be nice to get some feedback on what he asked people to sign up for months ago.

I posted a video on the day the email was sent out, the 9th.

I have heard nothing except for the blanket email Ginger sent out this weekend.

However, I have noticed that some people have a statement in their description about their YT video as "originally created" on July 31st. How did these people know ahead of the email to start a video? Was this said on the 27th at his speech that I missed? Or did some select few get a heads up early????

No, the email about the video went out on 8/8 the day richard posted his. Do you have a link to a video that fits this condition? I have not see any like that.

That is weird, but in the video she says she met with Richard on 7/30, if I understand her correctly. Maybe the video request was made then, but it wasnt posted until 8/16. Also, I correct myself the request was mailed on 8/9, but the video was posted on 8/8.

Come on everyone, its a good show for entertainment purposes. But if you can't figure out that Richard and crew just want to make money off you, than you deserve what you get. Richards system of flipping houses isn't hard, he knows his area, and he has built a name for himself in the community by being active in civic and school groups. Its not rocket science.

I don't have any problem with TP making money off of me - as long as I make money off of them. That's why I need to see the contract first so I can read the "Winner Winner Chicken Dinner" amendment.

As far as rocket science goes...I don't know...TP's "going worldwide, baby!" After that, I figure if we could flip some of them craters on the moon, we could sell the resulting "view" property and make a mint!! (Wonder who we have to see to pull the permits up there? )

Thanks for all of your "homework" although incomplete, as you stated as far as checking ALL of the states.

Unfortunately, for you though, "trademarks" are handled by the Feds, not the states.

dag274 hit the nail on the head! Do some homework/research and you'll be able to do what Richard is going to try and sell you for $100,000 or more. Start off slow and work your way up. Watch all the flip shows you can, if 20 yr. olds can make serious money doing it, you can too. You don't need Trademark; why give them all that money for something everyone else is doing and making money? There's no guarantee with Trademark either, you can lose money with them as well. There are books, clubs, and websites to help you get started.....stop waiting around for Richard and Ginger's broken promises, they're a joke at this point. Their show was fun and somewhat entertaining, but this "area partner" charade is plain ridiculous. Trademark has lost all credibility in my book. What's next, come back to Charleston for another circus and book signing of a book that never was? Puh-leez!

seriously... what is going on? i have the utmost faith in richard and trademark, but i'm beginning to think that i have been played a fool. i mean is it so much to ask someone to respond to an email with a simple.. "I'll get back to you" i think i would be happy now with a "... i took you for $45." just anything. is this really lack of professionalism or is it a test to weed out people who aren't worthy? all i know is that i have proven my worthiness and i can't even get a "kiss --0".

I just want to say you are all giving my husband and I more confidence. You are doing exactly what he told us he wanted...you are eliminating yourselves!!!! You are all passing up on an amazing opportunity and eliminating our competition. If you think that he isn't reading your comments you are sadly mistaken...

Do you realize that he has hundreds maybe thousands of videos to watch. Do you think you could watch all of them in a few weeks, meanwhile running a multi-million dollar company, coaching baseball, and still have time to sleep? Apparently you all fail the patience portion!!!

I agree, some of the posts I have read are not very positive. Like you I am very patient and happy to continue to wait. If and when I am contacted and offered an option into this business, I will move forward appropriately.

Although I'm not interested in being on the TV show and as such, have not posted a video on UT, I have been watching them. They seem to be stuck on atlas straps at the moment. Becky, since you seem to know the inside of what's going on maybe you can answer this:

Are people posting directly to UT or are the videos being posted by TP after being viewed. If the former is true are you sure there are thousands of videos to filter? If the later is true did Richard invest in atlas straps? Just curious.

People are posting directly to you tube, and with that people are also sending him dvd's of their videos (that is what my husband and I did because we didn't have a web cam). So you are only seeing maybe half of them on you tube.

I will tell you this. My husband and I went to Charleston on vacation two weeks after the speech and we had the opportunity to meet with Ginger and Richard at the office. He is overwhelmed with the response and is more inspired now than ever to get Trademark nationwide after the positive response he has received. He told us that he has also had some negative emails sent to him after the speech complaining about the organization and some that thought he was two hours late (they thought he actually drove the car there). For those that think that..he was there at 6:00am. As for knowing what is going on in the inside, I recieve the same emails as all of you. I just have some insight after meeting with him and Ginger on what they are expecting, and I just gave you what I know.
