well it's been one year since the Charleston meeting and it look like ther will need to be A LOT of $45 refunds going out. As far as I can tell there has not been 1 area partner.

The goodwill generated at the meeting has been totally lost. Had there just been updates or communication as to what was happening then I think they could have saved face but the way they went about this it almost makes you wonder if they were in it for just the $45 fee.

I have to agree with mbrown. This pep rally a year ago really fired a lot of people up about the area partner program. I just wish that more communication had been given to those who attended (such as I). I am still waiting for Richards book to be released. The economy has shifted dramatically and Trademark may have had to shift with it, thats just business.

Would anyone care for some Cheese to go with this particular glass of whine?

Speaking of money, I wish I had a dollar for every ID you've used to post this exact same insipid little drivel.

If we take up a collection for you, will you consider using your multiple personalities elsewhere to annoy someone else?

Glad to see you're still out there, MBrown, Scoll, Guru and others. I hope you're all doing well. I am.

So, I was just checking in at the one year mark and I couldn't help but notice that there is no new info from Trademark, no new shows, no Area Partners, no response, no book, no $45, and no "no" either... and yet, Jenralee remains...still trying to bully people and deflect attention away from the facts.

Hey, I'll admit I was wrong. I thought this whole Trademark thread would be long gone by now. Jenralee, in turn, you should admit you were wrong on just about everything else.

But somehow, I expect to see another long diatribe (look it up yourself) about how we're all whiners and should get a life etc, etc.

By the way, your links to that obscure youtube bull**** are so GREAT! They really lighten the mood. Please throw in some of your new words for us too!

Music is a great way to set the mood or drive home a point. I'm genuinely sorry you don't appreciate the subtle humor or the irony of my private little soundtrack. But it just may be that there's a lot about the subtleties of the universe that escapes you.

For instance...

A year ago, you went to Charleston to explore a business opportunity (or to audition for a tv show) in a booming real estate market. But a few weeks after you left Charleston, the entire real estate market experienced catastrophic events in the credit markets which reversed/erased a 20 year growth trend in real estate nationwide. And the bad news streams out to this very day.

Would you really feel any better if Richard had called you personally?

quote:
What if he had said:

changes in the market place are happening daily. We're re-evaluating every single aspect of our business. We don't want to move forward until we are confident we can start you out on a clear path to success.

There were a couple thousand people at that meeting. Most didn't seem to need this kind of hand holding. A scant few came here to whine and moan. My guess is most figured out what was happening and decided to demonstrate their patience and professionalism. Especially, if they were 'already successful'.

...but not you.

Instead of discussing changes in the market place or Trademarks reaction to them or anything constructive; you and a few of your 'successful friends' want to badger fans or cast members of the show posting insults and complaints here. Well, it's a free counrty and a public message board so you have your say.

But you said it first, "it's one full year later" and you're still here shilling out the same old tripe.

Richard didn't get indicted for selling homes he didn't own. He didn't get forget to pay his appraiser. His properties aren't facing foreclosure threats. He didn't sell you a worthless eBook or try to drag you through an overpriced boot camp. At worst, he picked the wrong time to try to expand his business and invited you to hear about that opportunity.

quote:
Forthe Record:

I simply don't get why are you still here complaining.

You never seem to post any valuable insights about the cast, the show, the market or otherwise. With each post you submit, you simply demonstrate how bitterness and false pride have no place on a team trying to drive change at an historical moment in the evolution of this industry.

BobbySparkles asked a few interesting 'what if' questions. But you didn't even want to talk about that with a potentially sympathetic voice here. IMHO (and with a feeble attempt at old country wisdom):

If you ain't part of the solution, you ARE the problem.

quote:
BTW:

Poking fun at your various nicknames isn't bullying...it's SATIRE and it's more like a public service at this point. And anyway, Satire is it's own rewards.

Nine months ago I submitted the following:

"The facts are these:
1. Richard promised a book.
2. Richard promised a quick response to those which responded with videos.
3. Richard promised data to support his claims.
4. Richard promised 10 "area partners" up and running by the end of 2007.
5. Richard made a lot of other promises which I don't even care to enumerate, but I will, if you press me."

Jenrallee, I'll grant you that the market has changed. Perhaps Richard decided to sh**can the whole Area Partner thing. Good for him. It was probably a wise choice. I never asked for a phone call. But, to my knowledge, no one that attended last July has received any response whatsoever.

So, failing to keep the two thousand plus "prospective area partners" (that traveled to Charleston last July) informed about his intentions is inexcusable, in my judgment. If that strikes you as whining, well, honestly I could not care less. I do not care if it ruins "the mood."

I also can't help but point your contradictory reasoning. On the one hand, you say that your youtube deflections are intended to "drive home a point" and yet, you accuse the occasional contributor, like myself, of being "still here shilling out the same old tripe."

For the record, I didn't start this thread and I have no personal connection to the other contributors here. I am simply here to report that, in my personal view, nothing has changed with respect to Trademark in the past year.

The facts are these: No book. No response. No new show. No data. No area partners.

The rest is subterfuge.

If you want to discuss "changes in the market place or Trademarks reaction to them," I suggest that you start a new thread with that heading and see how it goes. This thread is entitled "one year later." Therefore, the rest of your comments are "non sequitor."

However, I offer the following olive branch: Why don't we agree to limit the discussion to the topic of "one year later" from now on? You can inform us on your market observations [NO SARCASM] and the rest of us will discuss our experiences with Trademark since last July.

Ok, but...

Yawn!!!

Satire (not sarcasm) is the only service I can offer you at this time.

Richard: I want my $45.00. Check please. Don't worry, I'm not going to cash it. I'm going to frame it.

I have a hunch that Richard is waiting for tomorrow. Does anyone remember what tomorrow is? It has something to do with a deadline to get that $45 back.

I have e-mailed "team Trademark" and asked for my $45 back. I (not surprisingly) didn't get a response. Not that the $45 is going to take food out of my families mouth, I just don't like being lied to. So far as I'm concerned Rishard and the gang are nothing more than door to door salesmen and I fell for their act hook line and sinker.

Would it have killed him to send out (at the very least) an e-mail to all those who attended and say simply, the market has turned and we are putting this roll out on hold? Come on Dick, be a man about this and apoligize for misleading all those poeple that paid money to listen to you ramble on in a most disorganized fashion.
