I am so disappointed in TLC because of this show. Not only will I not ever watch this show again, I'm boycotting TLC all together (and I LOVE Jon and Kate Plus 8). Nothing like going from raising your own children to putting them in a day orphanage. Shame on you TLC... I hope you can sleep at night!

I'm sure they do. I know I do. I even sleep well at night knowing people like you don't.

One thing that all working moms seem to have in common is that they are "angry".

Riiiight. You announce your boycott and claim that mothers are dumping children in "day orphanages" and yet it's the working mothers that are "angry." Funny, but there sure seem to be millions of happy, healthy, well-adjusted "orphans" running around out there...

So upset. Tonights episode highlights the sacrifice stay-at-home moms make, it highlight's the guilt and the control the dad and even children can have over a woman of incredible brillance and talent. She will never ever get this opportunity again given the change in technology and training. Bad move for her, bad move for her famly, bad move and selfishness on the part of her husband for not knowing he dream.

You, on the other hand, seem very tolerant and rational.

Seriously, this comment was hilariously ironic. What's next? "I hear they all eat the fat of newborn endangered seals once they get to work!"

How sanctimonious. How dare these women criticize others because they didn't, or couldn't make the same choice. They don't even have an identity besides their babies. They're just so pleased with themselves, and think everyone else in the world should to be pleased with them too. They just need to raise their family and let other people raise theirs, instead of being judgmental little prigs.
PS
while they are wallowing in their momentous achievement, their husbands is cheating with someone who is interesting.

You all make me sick. FYI Kacky, just because I'm a SAHM doesn't make me uninteresting. In fact, I've been married 10 years and my husband can't get enough of me.
I know that some moms have to work, my mom did. But she also never let her work come before anything we kids did. My parents were both at every ball game, every recital and every graduation. We knew we were the most important things in their lives and the reason they worked so hard was for us.
However, I don't think kids today really get that message from a lot of working moms. I am so saddened when I see parents on their cell phone/laptops and kids sporting events. Can't they turn it off and focus on their kids for 1 HOUR? Look at all the problems in the world today, ladies, and the majority can be traced back to a lack of love and understanding in the home. As a woman I take pride in the fact that I can do for my kids that no one else in the world is capable. If all kids felt loved and accepted there would be no need for them to seek out gang, where acceptance is key. There would be no need for underage drinking, teenage sex or drug abuse which are all desperate cries for attention from the people who should love them most - their parents.

Wow, so I guess that means that your husband isn't capable of making your kids feel loved and accepted? How sad.

Reality check: it's completely possible to make your children feel loved and accepted AND work outside the home. It's called good parenting. Once again, I feel compelled to point out that which should be obvious: you are not a good parent merely by virtue of staying at home, nor is someone a bad parent simply because they work. There are good and bad parents in both groups.

My parents loved me very much. They took care of me and accepted me for ME! I still experimented with drugs and sex. I drank as well! In fact, the reason I did most of what I did, was because I was being SMOTHERED by a helicopter parent.

Wow.. according to your post you seem quite angry yourself. How dare you say all working mothers are angry people. Really, do you know every single working parent in the world?

I usually don't say this, but you are a naive person.
