This is for the working moms.

Actually, I would like the SAHM's to chime in too. What does your husband do to help out with the house and children?

Mine helps with the laundry, cleaning, dishes, bath time, and even dropping off and picking up our son at day care.

I work midnights on the weekend in order to be home for school related activities during the week, my husband keeps the house going while I sleep. He does pretty much the same job I do however, he has the games to attend and the extra stress of keeping the kids quiet so I can sleep. During the week, he only has to work. There is very little I expect of him during the week.

To be honest, there is little that my husband has to do. I take care of the lion's share of the housekeeping (although, he will lend a hand in vacuuming, which I loathe) and running the kids to activities.

My job requires that I travel out of town one day a week. I have arranged it so that I take out an early morning flight and fly back the same night. It's harder on me, but I like to be there to tuck them in at night. The kids actually enjoy those days that I'm out of town, because it means they get to spend some quality time with their Daddy.

UNFORTUNATLY FOR ME MY HUSBAND JUST LEFT FOR A 6 TO 8 MONTH DEPLOYMENT. HE IS MISSING ALOT EVEN THE BIRTH OF OUT NEW BABY GIRL IN EARLY APRIL. BUT WHEN HE IS HOME HE IS AMAZING THERE IS NOTHING HE WOULDNT DO. HE HELPS ME OUT WITH COOKING, CLEANING, LAUNDRY , WE WORK TOGETHER AS A TEAM. I THINK THAT IS HOW A FAMILY SHOULD WORK AS A TEAM.
