You'll have the chance to help kids in MA, but your most important job now is the two great kids you have. They're truly blessed to have a mom who has so much compassion for those less fortunate. Get them involved in your work, you can all help in your own community, and increase your involvement as the kids get older.
I think being on this show would probably break your heart. You wouldn't just be going to some frivolous fashion job, you'd be doing amazing work and making a huge difference. That would be agonizing to walk away from.
Contact your local shelter. If you've got a 5 and 9 year old, you've probably got time during school when you can volunteer.
I think that is one of the most common hazzards that comes with mother hood, all those "WHAT IFS". You are in all sense of the word a "SUPER MOM". To not only take care of your own children, but to have to ability and want to do the same with street children. WOW!!! Heath-Ra is right, see how you can go about your work with your children, or wait until school starts and do it that way. You have a gift to not only teach your children the basics in life but also enough compassion that is not taught normally in a home anymore, Which i think is wonderful
