If this show is on the up and up and not just a made up fairy world, I would love to be on it. Im the mom of two teenage boys whos dad left when the youngest was born. Last year we found each other again and married and our world has been as if the other was never missing from it. However in all those years I gave up my dream of becoming a writer. I went back to college for several things, none of them were right for me. Writing though has always been my passion dream. I wrote for my children when they were young and those were the stories they would hear at bedtime. I read them to my childrens schoolmates when I would do story time in the schools library. So, my kids would understand if I left them for a week to attain my dream, they would be proud of me. My aunt always told me to go for that dream, I wish I had listened to her.
Yup, and that's the exact same thing that's happened to the SAH mothers that I know personally. Shoulda, coulda, woulda always come about when we're conversing. I just simply tell them that they can still go after their dreams, it's never too late. Yes, I do understand that you have small children (so do I, just one for me though), put them in "daycare" while you're in school during the day. Your children will be fine, just fine! Go after your goals and dreams, you are the one that will have to live with thinking EVERYDAY about what if I did this, what if I did that....your thoughts probably are you'll be happy, content, getting paid a pretty penny, then can teach your children to go after their goals and dreams...when they're ready.
