I would suggest all of the over-critical SAHMs read todays NY Times artlcle about Barack Obama's mother. Barack describes her as "a teenage mother, a single mother, a mother who worked, went to school and raised children at the same time". This woman produced one of the most successful men and maybe our soon to be president of the United States. This woman proves that you can be a great mother and raise remarkable children and still follow your own passions in life as a woman and as a mother. The fact that women can still follow thier dreams after they have children can be a true element of inspiration in your child's life. So, SAHMs don't put down WOHMs.
Apples and oranges. With all due respect to Barak, he flourished in spite of his circumstances. This show is not about hardworking single mothers who find themselves in a position to work. This show is not based on that premise.
