So I've been thinking for mad long about what I want my first to be. And I do believe I've came to a conclusion. It's a heart with boxing gloves over it; it's to symbolize my protection over getting too close to anyone on an intimate level. Now, though, I'm thinking something other than boxing gloves, any suggestions, greatly welcomed and anticipated.

First off, good idea dropping the boxing gloves.
Secondly, its hard to just shoot out ideas without knowing more about you. Are there any specific tattoo styles you like (old school, new school, asian, tribal, celtic, biomech,…). Depending on what you like, there are various options to explore and various symbols that are for protection.

Maybe a heart with a kanji for protection in it?
A heart with a dragon circling around it?
Too many options to list…
