Hi my name is Chris. I have never had a tattoo before and i need help. I sortof know what i wannt but i dont know if it is a good idea. i want to get something for my son. i havent seen him in over two years, and i want everyone to see my tattoo and know how much i love him. i dont have alot of money so i cant get anything complicated, but i do love my son to death. i was thinking a heart with his name in a double banner. the only problem with this is that his name is dawson joseph and the tattoo would have to be pretty big to fit it. i was also just thinking about getting the lettering but i thought that would be kinda plain. i also want the tattoo to fit on my arm. im a big guy so size isnt a big concern if the price is reasonable. so if you have any ideas please help me

I don't know your religious affiliation but, what about praying hands or a cross with his initials above it?
If you are not religious how about an open hand with his initials in the palm, a "holding him close" kind of thing.

thx for responding to my post. i like the intials in the heart and above the praying hands but when i see intials over a cross i think its because someone has passed on not for your child

Not to be insensitive but wouldn't it be better to see your son than getting a tattoo?

If impossible to see him initials would be fine in a heart tattoo.
