You bet there are! I'm a 49 year-old grandma of 4 (soon to be 5) and I proudly wear 4 (two quite large) tattoos on various parts of my body. I got my first one in August, 2005 and my 4th in August, 2006. I'm not done yet.
I am a well educated, professional individual with a full-time job as well as a part-time job as a firefighter/emt. I do my own thing and I don't really worry about what other people think.
i am a 44 year old grandma of 2 and have 14 tats and my family likes them and i plan on more i do what i want with my body if i want to tat it up i will if you dont like it dont look thats how i feel about it go grandmas
I'm the grand mom, with two adult children and three grands and 21 tats. I just celebrated my 58th b-day with a memorial portrait of my mom. I was inspired to do this by the work that Kat does. I live in New York City and would love to travel to Miami just to have Kat do some work. I'm contemplating this fierce tribal that represents a firebird. I want to commend and give a high five to all grand moms, and all women for that matter who choose to tat it up. You can still get inked and be as feminine and ladylike as you want to be! Go Grand moms!
I am the grandmother of 4. For my 60th birthday I had a tattoo, much to the surprise of family and friends. I have it in a place where it only shows if I choose to show it!! I emailed a picture of it to my 83 year old mother and her reply was " I dread to think what's next!". I was warned that tattoos are addicting and I agree - I'm ready for my next one.
They are very adicting! I have four and already know what the next two are that I want! They can all be covered up if I so choose or I can show them off (which I'm not afraid to do!) Welcome to the Grandma club!
Well I'm old enough to be a grandma (53) and I got my first tattoo 35 years ago when only bikers and sailors were getting tats. The tattooer I went to almost refused to do it because I wasn't a hooker! But I've had plenty of them done since then and never regretted it. I'll keep at it until I don't have an inch of un-inked skin left.
Well I'm not a grand mom, but a great aunt several times over and I started with my first tat 1 1/2 years ago and I now have number 12 in the works! All my nieces, nephews and grand babes call me the kewl aunt.I'm with Sharron on this 1, if ya don't like it don't look lol.(btw) I also gave myself a mowhawk at 49 years old lol
