So far I've had 2 Tattoos. The 1st one was of a Kiss on my left hip. I was in a Kiss my @$$ mood and the woman that did it for me had tattoos everywhere, but, she said she'd never get one on her hip because she figured it would hurt too much.
My 2nd Tattoo is on my lower back and I'd been told by many people that it would hurt, (including a Tattoo Artist) because all the nerves meet up at the lower back. But it didn't hurt at all, I guess maybe because I like a good back scratch?
My grandma used to make the most awesome rhubarb pie.
I like pie
My next tattoo will be partially a memorial to her. Not sure if I should include a picture of a rhubard pie. Cuz you know, she made totally awesome lemon meringue pie as well.
i have a ? actually, i'm thinkin about gettin a tattoo on my wrist of a vine that wraps around and then a lilly cumin off of it. i was concerned whether or not its complitely safe becuz of all the vains on my arm
The reason that there is a h in rhubarb is becuz it helps bring out the "strong" r sound instead of the "soft" r, so ppl wouldn't pronounce it rub-barb, cuz thats what would happen
As far as pain and tattoos go...aren't they hand in hand? I got one on my foot...it hurt like hell...its a needle diggin into your skin. Its gonna hurt people...but isn't it all well worth it?
Isn't the pain half the point of a tattoo? I mean after it is done then you can show it off proudly and the pain adds to your pride. Especially if the tattoo really means something to you then the pain signifies you immortalizing your memory.

I personally am not into it for the pain... if there is pain it's nothing more than a by-product of the process.. whether it's painful or not is meaningless to me. Yes my tattoo it meaningful..yes I'm so very glad it was painless, however the lack of pain doesn't mean the lack of meaning. I also enjoy the creative process of the art and the fact that it beautifies the body....if making the pain meaningful helps one get thru the process than by all means make it as meaningful as all H>E>L>L>.
