Copying someone else's ink like that is typically frowned upon in the tattoo world. A custom design such as the one you have described was made specifically for the recipient.
While often times we say that immitation is the most sincere form of flattery, this is not the case with tattoos.
was there an honestly a point to that? how do you know that i don't want to put my own twist on it? I just was wondering if anyone knew where i could get pictures like those.... thanks for your input it was quite helpful
oh well what ya gonna do... jus an fyi too i understand copying is 'frowned upon' but i hate to break it to you 99% of tattoos someone else did unless its a protrait im sure some one out there has had the same idea as you... but like i said before thanks so much for the info... ive been enlightened
I can see getting flash as having the chance of getting something that can be on someone else's body.
But if you get custom work, it is just that, custom. Sure, parts of it may be inspired by other people's work that the artist has seen or even done, but its not the same as someone else's.
I have been around many a tattoo and (other than flash) I can honestly say that 2 custom pieces have never been the same.
yep still not getting that i dont want that paticular "custom" tattoo... i want pictures like hers so i can get a tattoo done that i only have a picture of in my mind
Kristin, I get what your saying. I don't know how you can get the image of that particular tat. Maybe you could just get some images of different kinds of candy off of Google images and just play around with them until you get a nice combination. just a thought
