Have you read about plastics that give off toxins? Of course you have. It has been a subject for years. Now they give veggies in a bag that you can pop in the microwave. First off, the microwave? I tried one and it had a funny taste.I did not like it. I like fresh veggie taste and I thought this might do it. Maybe the sauce needed for steaming? I don't know but I am opting out of it all together.

I agree... For the longest time, I thought all the concern about microwaves, plastics, etc. was just a little paranoia. But more and more, I'm embracing the whole food mentality. I want to eat it as close to nature as it comes. I've found that making dips w.the no-sugar yogurt makes raw, fresh veggies so desirable for my kids, I almost never cook veggies anymore! My dh still loves his carrots, and I stir fry peppers, onions, broccoli and mushrooms often - but as a whole, we've become whole food dippers! Smile
