hey guys. I really need help. I just bought a house and it needs to be redone completely. and the living room dining room and kitchen are in an L shape. The three rooms are very open to each other. and im doing the medieval theme in the living room. and in the kitchen i want to do a sunflower theme. the dining room i have no idea what to do either bc its right in the middle. But i dont know what colors to do in the kitchen the floors will be cherry hardwood in all 3 rooms. I just need some advice and ideas on how to go about it. I appreciate all your help guys Smile

My first thought was yellow but if you want to tie the three rooms together I would look at different, but complementary, shades of green. That way the three areas would not all match but would be in the same family. Or you might look at white--it's fresh and clean and the sunflowers would pop against it. Bring home a lot of paint chips and start playing with them until you find the one that pleases YOU.

You can get a paint chip card that has 4 or 5 shades of the same color. That way the rooms will be complimentary. If you want the sunflower theme in one room and medieval in another is there an in between for the dining room since it is in the middle. Maybe vines, leaves, or something like that.
