and it has white bookcases on either side of a picture window. also painted in white. I would love to treat one wall for sure or maybe both...with a color from my cough. It is very indian (cowboy and indian king) and it has strong beiges with indian designs with arrow head, etc. The main colors on the furniture is Turquoise, Pomegranate color, a light pomegranate color and black with heavy beige. What color should I pull for focus and what On earth do I with the WHITE BOOKCases that will make it all come together. I'm desperate to get started. Help .

Beautiful colors! I think you could use any of those for your walls. The difference would be your accessories to play off the walls. Strong beige would be classy, pomegranate would be a punch of power, turquoise would be very vivid. If the room is large, as you say, you could also paint two walls one color and two another color, perhaps to define different areas in the room i.e. sitting/reading vs. entertaining. At any rate, paint the bookshelves the same as the wall for a continuous line of color or use one of the complementary colors to make them stand out. Fill the shelves with accent pieces you've collected as well as books. Make it interesting and stay with your Indian theme with interesting pots and collectibles. This sounds like a fun project!
