Hello,

My husband and I would like to redo our bedroom but can't afford new furniture. So, I want to take his old furniture that is at least 20 years old and paint it a dark brown. The furniture is currently stained. What are the steps I need to take to prep and paint the furniture? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

probally a little sanding depending on if its got a sealer on it. Then all you need to do is tackcloth (or wipe it down) and you should be reary to go. I had a dresser that wasnt sanded but the paint still aheared.
