Does anyone know the name of the store that Curtis always asks the unsuspecting shopper to stop in order to pick up a suprise gift for each of his dinners?

I think it's called Sur La Table. Sometimes they go to Crate & Barrel though.

Last nights - 8/4 episode he went into Bed Bath & Beyond.
Yes, he mostly goes to Sur La Table which is on Colorado Blvd. in Pasadena. He occassionaly goes to Crate & Barrel which is down the street from Sur La Table. He also likes to go to Williams Sonoma which is across from an excellent restaurant called Green Street Cafe. I am fortunate enough to live in Glendale (which is next to Pasadena) and I have been to all these places. Sur La Table is an excellent store. As far as every show I've seen so far, he only scopes out the good supermarkets in Pasadena like Whole Foods, Gelson's, Ralphs and Pavillions.
The name of the store I think is my favorite stop by Curtis Stone. I saw a name on a bag of groceries named Gel... Don't you notice that the license plates are blurry and stuff to help Curtis from being followed by googley girls. Really I tink we should focus on what this forum is all about.
I just rewound the tape and I think the name of the store starts with a Kazgen or something. Why do you want to get really close to him maybe smell if he wears cologne after working in the kitchen all day huh do ya huh get all next to him and take a real close up look tell me. Or are you interested in buy stuff? email me and let's talk tahrens@sbcglobal.net
I used to hang in Pasadena with my cousin during the summer and my auntie used to make really nice lunches for us children. Pasadena huh funny how we can pull memories of good times and here comes this chef only shopping at the best places why Los Angeles and not good ole San Francisco. I have a great Mollie Stones and some nice International markets in my town. I love going to the Persian market they have some excellent spices and some really excellent bread. The little ole lady behind the counter is so sweet. I remember when Christopher Columbus was sent to look for spices in the new world believing it was flat.
