A question for The Doctor..
Could the circle under the roof like symbol on the entry to the tomb and found elsewhere in the tombs under the monastery be the Gnostic symbol of the snake devouring its tail or the Ouroboros? One end near the top appears to be lumpy, like it might be the snake’s head. The roof like symbol could imply that this was a Gnostic household? I have heard that Jesus may have been a Gnostic as the missing Gospels were found to be Gnostic of origin.
