im sry i live in france and im seeing the show for the first time and i am on season too but i think flower is a bad DF!!!!!!! how could she kick out mozart?!? she was so sweet and loving!!!! flower is a bad mom for doing that!!! and abandoning mozart and her pupS?! i felt so bad and sad. why would she do that i do not like flower!!!

I was refreshing the main page and saw this thread...

Please don't be so hard on Flower. She was only going by instinct. She evicted Mozart because Mozart was able to breed and have pups. This thus jeopardizes the well-being of Flower's pups, and Flower wants (or wanted I suppose, since she is dead now) her pups to have priority in the group. She was a meerkat matriarch driven by instinct, and there fore, had no choice but to evict Mozart. Besides, it would be very difficult for other new groups to form if dominant females never evicted subordinates, as subordinates often find roving males to breed with/start new mobs with.

Yes Flower stole food from her pups..(and I'm assuming you mean "Dudley" and "Clive" on the show) but it was ultimately for the well being of her small splinter group at the time (which consisted of only 7 whiskers). She needs to provide milk for them, and keep herself in tip-top condition so that she could continue to be a good, healthy leader to lead them. It seems mean, I know. But it was ultimately for the good of the group.

LFM, why do you come here and insult Flower? She is dead let her rest in peace. If it wasn't for Flower you wouldn't be watching Meerkat Manor. Grow up, you are being childish. If you knew any thing about meerkats you would not be so rude yourself...

Didnt we already discuss this? Flower was doing what comes naturally to a dominant female what would happen if Mozart was allowed to stay in the group she would most likely of KILLED flowers pups which wouldnt do much good to the group. The litter shown on Meerkat manor that belonged to Mozart wasnt Mozart at all. Im going to put this in captial letters so you know Mozart didnt have as much of a hard life as you think. FLOWER ALLOWED MOZART TO HAVE 2 LITTERS OF PUPS. ONLY ONE OF THEM WAS SHOWN ON MEERKAT MANOR THOUGH. THAT SEASON WAS THE SEASON WERE MOZART GAVE BIRTH TO THE FOLLOWING PUPS.(Miss Lilly The Pink, Wollow, Ju Drop and Karim). Miss Lilly The Pink and Wollow are both dominants Wollow is dominant male of the Lazuli and Miss Lilly The Pink is the Dominant female of the Toyota group. Mozarts other litter that was shown on meerkat manor was Tina Sparkle, Spud, Sophie, and an unnamed male ID code VWM079. Im not trying to be mean here but why watch meerkat manor if you hate Flower so much? She is the main character and hero of the Whiskers for 2 1/2 seasons. Her offspring are dominant in several diffrent groups Aztecs, Van Helsing, Kung Fu, Baobab, Whiskers, a wild group. The Whiskers are a very special group because usually when a group spreads to group like this it usually dies of Tb shortly after for almost 12 years the whiskers have been around they are one of the oldest groups right now.
