My Mom had many many kittens born under her house in the days before she began having us all "fixed". Dr. Sally says I am a Flame Siamese.....I am a creamy color with shades of orange and my face has very light tabby markings (kind of tabby and something) . My fur is like rabbit fur......very soft....this is what Mom says of course.
So, she grabbed me up at a young age before my birth mother could take me away. I was very young and had some problems. So many that I spent alot of my early life at the vets. I began to cost alot of money, but Mom didn't care, thank goodness....she wanted me to have a chance.
She was going to call me Newman....her last name (the name she called her dear departed husband)..... and the techs at the vets office laughed and said I should be called Neiman, as in Neiman Marcus....expensive!
Recently I was doing some digging for a research paper for college and came across this excerpt from an article by a researcher. Sorry, since I went to so many site for information, I don't remember which site it was or who the researcher was, but it is interesting. BTW, I did not take this off any forum site. If this is posted on another forum site I never copied it off from there.This was on a web site.

If I remember right, Sophie is Mozart's pup and since Mozart is Zaphod's daughter, then Sophie would be Zaphod' niece, so no Zaphod cannot mate with his niece. That wouldn't be right.
Eruth, we do not know for sure if Mozart is Zaphod's child. And, yes, what may be not right for humans can be right for meerkats, as Eleusine's mate was her nephew Dante.
We may never know who is whom's until the KMP site post a family tree, but I am pretty sure Mozart is Zaphod's daughter. I do know about Eleusine's mating with her nephew, Dante. I guess that can happen in the Meerkat world.
Also sophie has a different bloodline, she is carlos's dauther, it his genes mix with mozart's that made Sophie, spud and poor sparkle that may be the next queen, Sophie, she is very motherly and would make a great queen
I love to wach a good Millaped buffet all the time,I don't think you are crazy,but if there are 42 meerkats it couldn't be that Youssie is Shakes. P.S. Sorry about calling u guys crazy...
I ask mod-kelly if she would reopen this thread. I ask her last year if I could make the thread because people were making threads asking the same questions over and over and I thought it would be nice to have a thread where we can ask questions about the Meerkats and have information about them.
To all of you who are wondering when season 4 of MM begins, I have heard rumors of June 2008, but not sure. Also the movie is suppose to be out sometime this year. Again I have heard rumors of Spring 2008, but not sure of it. I hope it comes out soon. I am tired of this waiting.
