Hi Mod Kelly, I am sure you have been reading some of the coments concerning a new voice for the "New Manor". Many of us are so upset over losing Sean. We are still trying to adjust over losing Flower and now this. Instead of a "New Manor" are they really looking for new fans only to leave us the faithful behind? I realize all of this is not your doing but I would like to know if anyone is reading our comments and do they care??? =^..^=
Hi Mod_Kelly, I'm glad to know that Jason Is reading the posts and sees how left out people are feeling. I know AP is just trying to start over but it needs to be handled a little differently than we are seeing. We need some continuity right now and they have the perfect opportunity with the movie on at the end of May to seg-way(sp) into the new season with something like, "Now that the Queen has been called home, we see Flowers legacy living life in the Kalahari". Folks don't intend to forget Flower or her children who have passed, so AP needs to address this before they just charge in to the new season. To state this isn't Flowers place any more just hit the fans a devastating blow. We rallied together over the lives of our beloved kats and are anxious to see how the ones left behind are faring, but we still need some continuity. We still care about Flower, Mozart, Carlos and all the kats who have left us. They are and will always be in our hearts. We would just like to see them acknowledged one more time before AP moves on.
I'd also like to add my wish that AP would bring Sean back. Hearing his voice and how he handled everything last year won him a place in all our hearts. I don't believe it will be the same without him, no offense meant to the new person. Just my 2 cents worth.
i agree but i no i may be wierd but i was a fan of mm when it first came out i love it my fav`s shakespear,flower,taska,rd,mozart,kinkajou most of them are gone i dont know what happened to shakes or taska but there gone but i still watch even after the queens death i didn`t want to go back after i saw her.. but i came and watched because im a faithful mm fan and no matter how hard any one trys they`ll never break my spirt they`ll never get me away from watching mm no matter what they say or what they do i`ll always be a faithful.
Mamalur, You are right on target and said it perfectly. Yes, what we need is continuity and not drastic change and lies. And not a new narrator. Sean handled Flower's death - and every death of our beloved kats - with sympathy and dignity. Imagine loosing a job for doing it too well?
Very well put. I feel the exact same way...I feel like an old timer left behind...all the changes and losses are hard to deal with, but with time, I'm thinking that AP hopes to breathe new life into the Kalahari and as the Whisker's family evolves, they're hoping that we'll keep watching...
I too will miss the comforting voice of Sean Astin, and wish that his would be the voice welcoming us to Season 4, the Next Generation...but he will be with us in our hearts always.
Perhaps with Season 5 AP will re-think their choices and renew Mr. Astin's contract???
Kelly, when I logged on this afternoon there was a posting with cartoons and gag videos about the different meerkats, I think one was about Flower and Zaphod starting a business. I should have clicked on one but I was looking for my postings. Do you know or have any idea as to where to find this page?
