Well, I think everyones' was Flower, but other than that, I think mine was... umm... Len & Squiggy. Those little guys were so cute, and it's a shame to see them go like that. What's yours?

All of the nice parts..such as...Mozart finding a new group to be in really was important for me to see as she had such a tough life already...then Carlos...what a sweetie. I was really hoping that he would pull thru. I am happy that they had closure to his passing. Then of course precious little Len & Squiggy. Coming out of the burrow and being welcomed by the group was so sweet. Squiggy's sweet little leg. And when he looked up at Mitch towards the end I lost it. How could they have left him to die? Of course Flower....Must I say anymore? Her tribute about being the leader of the group for 4 years and from humble beginnings she created one of largest close knit families on the manor. And she was a noble mother and formidable leader. The true measure of a leader is not determined by one single act, it is their lasting legacy that really matters. And Zaphod was her one and only....Bless his little heart!
And of course our Mozart. What a darling little girl...she was so strong and brave and beautiful. What a true compassionate, loyal and caring meerkat. I would want someone like Mozart on my side any time.

The last episode was a good one as we now can move causiously towards a new time where groups are scattered and hopefully times will be kinder to our beloved Meerkats.

I miss all of the ones that have passed and I am happy to have watched a part of their journey. So, I guess my answer is a alittle bit of each episode is my most memorable part of season 3...
I am done now....

Mine is when Flower, ever the warrior queen, led the Whiskers in full battle strength against the Zappa; it sure reminded me of the grand old days when Flower went paw to claw against anyone and anything (even the ferocious Hannibal) that threatened her family.

Then, the next great part was seeing sweet Sophie clean and protect the pups underground as the great-almost-battle was going on. Then, after it was quiet, she and the pups emerged to find themselves happily reunited with their entire family, Flower scent marking her scared pups to reassure them that they were safe. Sophie looks so much like her sweet mom, Mozart and Flower, after the victory looked her cool, calm and regal self!

That to me is what Meerkat Manor was about- it was about the Whiskers, loving them, hoping, praying and worrying about them and eager to see them happy and safe. That is going to be my memory of the show, what I shall keep of season 3 and what I plan to cherish...

The most MEMORABLE episode for me is the one in which Flower died. It was so heartbreaking that even now I tear up thinking about it.

I will always remember Mozart, Carlos, Len and Squiggy, Kinkajou ... They all became very important to me and I will nwever forget them.

I thick it's when Rocket Dog fought the Zappa (which is questonable who she fought). It gave me hope that the Whiskers would go on.

I can't choose. Flower, Mozart, Kink, Carlos, even watching Zaphod after Flower died. It seems like every episode kept me glued to the tv set. I had to watch, even if I knew what was going to happen, thanks to the spoiler threads. I am glad I knew some of it, before it happened on my tv set.
There were good times in the 3rd, but it was a little to dark for me. I guess that is life and death in the Kalahari.
The whole season was memorable. It's kind of like asking a mom who has twins, which child do you love more. Which one do you want to keep or give away.
I want to remember them all.

Journeys End.
My friend called 1/2 and hour before an asked me, due to that commercial forshadowing her fate,'' Are you scared?" No, not really." I answerd. 'Are you worried?" She asked. ''Not a bit. I know whatever's gonna hapen, that Fower can handle it."
Well, I was wrong. Zaphod was the one whom needed to handle it now, Flower can't handle the World's most venomus bite to her head.
When Sean Astin said, 'Flower has reseived a fatal bite[horid pause] to the head. When he showe how horrible she then looked, covered my eyes. It was horrible. I was forced to turn it off when he said,"From humble beginings....."
I still can't stand to remember tht horrible Septembe 28.

Of course the most memorable one for me was Journey's End.
The most enjoyable one for me was The Mission. Seeing Sophie and Mitch become heroes, and the happy outcome due to Flower's good leadership. You can rewatch this episode many times without feeling sad. Alot of the season 3 episodes are hard to watch in reruns.

Journey's End hit me so hard that it is still difficult to even see that episode. I have season 3 and I always skip that episode. I just want to remember Flower as the strong and loving leader that she was and not the last scene with her small little swollen head. Overall, Season 3 with all of its ups and downs will be forever remembered in my heart.

Lets see.

Episode 1&2: Those were the first MM episodes I ever seen.

Episode 4: Carlos passed, and insensitive commercial advertising it.

Journeys End: Everone is affected by thatn. Probly the most memoriable MM episode ever.

3 Degrees of Seperation and The Graduate: Well, really mostly The Graduate. Our dear Motzart was lost and her sisters.

Everyone's was the one where Flower- well, you know, but other than that. And, animla-lover, I didn't even see that episode. I cought the end of it, but I still wouldn't leave the house for days. Okay I said it, now don't make fun of meBig Grin... And I never want to see it, just thinking of what must have happened makes me all foggy and damp. I can't stand it!

I would have to say when Flower died also. I was very surprised because she was my least favorite of Mozart,Carlo,Kinks and the pups. It just made me feel so down for weeks. It just isn't the same show without her.

I think because it brought back memories of losing my Mom. When she died she had a bunch of kids, grandchildren and great-grandchildren and our family has never been quite the same after she died. She kept us together and made sure we stayed close to each other.

I still can't watch that show. I still can't watch any of the show with our sweet mks dying.

I have quite a few:

* The de-throwning of Lola by Punk
* The de-throwning of Frank by Houdini
* Flower mating with Houdini
* The whole story of Len & Squiggy
* Zaphod goes roving
* Rocket Dog loses her pups
* Flower's death
* Mozart & Wilson's "romance"
* Mozart's death
* Adoption of Axel
* Maybelline and her splinter group separating from the Whiskers permanently

While the most heartbreaking episode for me was Journey's End (I cried for an hour)the most memorable episode was Death of Romance. I loved Carlos (JD), he was so spunky yet also so loyal in the end. This episode also began the series of tragedies that would befall the manor this season. By the time we lost poor Mozart I was glad to see the season end. I couldn't bear to watch another tragedy unfolding and being powerless to stop it.

"Journey's End" or the death of Flower is definitely the most memorable episode of any on Meerkat Manor so far.
I was virtually traumatized, even though I knew it was coming.

Definitely Journey's End for me too. I usually avoid spoilers (though not anymore!) and had no idea what was coming. Surely we couldn't lose Flower!!! Shock, devastation, inconsolable. My grief led me to join the MM forums that night. Meeting everyone here and learning behind-the-scenes facts has increased my fascination with and love for our beloved meerkats. That's a pretty big impact from a single episode!

Hiya Burrowmates,

As an overall season it had so much sorrow and pain for everyone.
I console myself with the knowledge that while we have lost far too many meerkats this season,
it is part of the cycle of life. Always will I mourn the loss of those held dear but I'm eagerly awaiting familiar and new faces to come.

Think back to the first season and remember hearing "meet the Whiskers" for the first time.
Of course we all did and loved them.
When I think of the loss I remind myself to thank AP for the decision to begin filming the Manor
3 seasons back.
If not then we would never have known Flower, Carlos, Shakespeare and Mozart. Along with so many others. So while I feel their loss I am honored to have shared part of their lives.

To me it is almost impossible to chose one memorable episode from this season.
Each one had moments that made it special.

*Len & Squiggy when the Whiskers waited at the burrow for Squiggy to make his way out.
Mitch standing next to him and the looks exchanged.

*The reunion of the 2 Whiskers groups and the apparent joy they had. Rocketdog acknowledging Flower as DF in such a simple way.

*Of course Journeys End as it was the last glimpse of our Flower.

*Zaphod going roving and Sean Astins narration making him the guy on the go.

*Family at War as it showed Maybeline rising to power and leading the charge (literally).
Also this episode showed Zaphod, the old warrior as seeing it all before.
Lola taking a role with saving her sisters pups (now that's meerkat family values).

But for me the standout is The Graduate.
I've always had a special place in my heart for Mozart. It meant alot to me to know that after Kinkajou died she had some happiness with Wilson. It would have completely broke my heart if she hadn't had this bit of happiness and hope.

hugs & nuzzles
