Thanks for the alert call and the link. Looks like the bulk of the piece will focus on Pam and Mick. But I got an honorable mention on the last page. LOL! Although that quote of me "crying hysterically" (I can't think of the last time I said sobbing although that is more correct usage of English ) was actually said in the context of me crying during the episode of "When Flower Met Hannibal" when Flower was trapped in the burrow while being attacked by the Commandos. I said, that was the moment I knew I was really attached. So, either I was misunderstood or this quote was taken out of context. Alas, I will watch tonight and hope to see lots of footage of the fuzzies at Fellow Earthlings.

Dmoo, I noticed your posted comment to the ABC story webpage where you were upset that they mentioned MM having a cult-following, and you mistook that for thinking they were saying we were part of a cult.

In defense of ABC, I just wanted to clarify that the term "cult-following" is rooted on the word "CULTure-following" when in the context of something in popular culture. This is only a homonyn to the term ocCULT, so "cult" here comes from CULTure rather than ocCULT.

I am cautiously optimistic that it will air tonite...can't wait!!

As I was looking to record the show I noticed that the NBA finals are also on, soooo I am going to extend recording even later than time slots predict. Thought I would give a heads up for those of you with DVR's to give more time due to the programming- the basketball games are famous for running over!

Here's hoping we have no more hurdles to stand in our way and things go smoothly.

I noticed your post and they did also and they removed the word. Good for you. The media has used the word cult in various scenarios (not positive either) and I am happy that you said something.

Yes, the NBA finals are on tonight so it will be shown later on the east coast. The games usually end around 8:30ish pst and therefore it may be a bit late on the east coast....Hopefully they will show it this time.

Hillary and Obama better stay home today and let our beloved Meerkats have there time....

OH MY GOSH, We are now a 'FIERCE FOLLOWING'!!!

YES, HIGH FIVES, FIST PUMPING IN THE AIR! Mostly cuz I actually did accomplish something today!!! That is a much better description of us.

WCM, I was loving meerkats before most of the western world had heard of them - thanks to Ben Bova and his Mars series, so I didn't feel that I felt part of a CULTure. As Janelle mentioned, the word cult has such a negative conotation, it just got to me. And I will admit I'm hypersensitive to the word; I grew up in a church most think of as a cult, and an offshoot of which is currently causing all kinds of negative headlines. I appreciate you reminding me of a more positive outlook on it meerbrother, but I saw it at 7:00 this morning and hadn't gotten the knots out of my tail from morning PT at 88 degrees !!

Still, we won one with at least one tv network!!
