Hello Everybody,

I am new to the burrow but I could not wait to tell you guys some very exciting news. While this pass week has been very difficult for us. and I know we cannot talk about it here so I will not. I do bring good news that I hope will bring comfort and joy to you all. I have made sure the link works and it was safe to view before I posted it on here. Well the good news I bring is I have actually found a site where we can download Ella: A Meerkats Tale. I know a lot of people here have been on a endless search for this illusive story. I would like to tell you as someone who has already watched it, it was great to see our beloved meerkats. I think that, that is it for now. I will be back later on to formally introduce myself. Don't be scared since the website title is in a different language I think or I am not really sure what it stands for. The program is in English and the picture is very beautiful (dvd quality). Okay so there it is maybe we can discuss it after it has been viewed.

You can download the movie by, right clicking, then select, "Save Target As...".

I tried clicking on it and waited about 10-15 minutes to see if it would work, but it never did. I know you can't say much about the movie, but is it about Ella from the Whiskers, or a different Ella? Also, how old is the movie? Is it similar to Digger's Meerkat tale?

Sorry the link did not work for you. Umm all I did to download it was click on the Ella: a meerkat's tale under the natual world titles it downloaded automatically to my c: drive on my computer. I have that option on netscape which web browser do you use?

To answer you question about the program it is actually the story of Tosca it just calls her a different name. All of the whiskers that you know that were born before I think 2005 or 2004 come out. However, the only meerkats they name by name are Flower, Tosca(Ella) which is the main character, Uncle Youssy, Carlos and Daisy. I could only identify Zaphod because I can easily recognize him. The show tells the story about one of Tosca's pregnancy and all the troubles and adventures she had along that year of filming. Some of the scenes you will recognize from season one of Meerkat Manor. Don't want to say much more so that you can watch the program and not have the experience spoiled.

Suricate, I tried what you said, but it looks like it was going to take up to 4 hours to download. Is that how long it took you? My computer is pretty fast and I have my internet through the cable, so downloads are always fairly quick. Am I doing this correct?

Leaving your computer on the whole night is a big electricity waster which is a huge Global Warming producer, yes I do love my Polar Bears and Penguins and want to stop Global Warming, but I know how you feel, it takes forever to download.

I am trying to download the movie. Are we all on at the same time???? Mine said it will take 8 hours. I think I too will leave it on during the night and check on it on the morning. Work will be here soon enough. If it is worth while I don't mind waiting.

When I downloaded on Sunday it took me about 6 hours to download. I too have internet though the cable so mine is pretty fast too. I was not able to see it till Monday since I started downloading at night.

Ccatz were you able to download I know you have been waiting a long time for it 2 years too long. Well I am not sure if you are familiar with a downloading program called bittorrent you can use that software to download if it does not automatically download. You can download the program for free from this website http://www.download.com/BitTorrent/3000-2196_4-10211384...st-1&cdlPid=10807964
I hope that helps. Just download the program where it gives the option at the top of the page.

Hi Stumpy, I downloaded the bittorent and installed it, but I don't understand how to get the movie. Can you give us simple instructions?

Sure let me see if I can help you. So you already downloaded the bittorrent program that is half the battle the rest is hopefully easy. Try going to the website where the Ella program is and click on the link, like you did initially. It should give you an option on how you want to download, just scroll down to download with the bittorent program and the downloading should begin. Try it out and see if it works. I will see if there is another way to download if you can tell me if it worked or not.

Stumpy3, Thanks for your help.I'm not getting any options on how to download. If I just click it nothing happens. I did the right-click 'save target as' as SVVM032 suggested above. I use IE, but also have Firefox, but still can't get the option to come up. Any ideas?

I tried both IE and Firefox and when I click on the link it gives me the option to download. Do you have the bittorrent program open at the time you choose to download the file? I am really not sure of any other way way to download. What message do you get when you save target as? That option should also work.

No I didn't have it open. It just gives the option of 'where' I want to save it to. When I just click on it I get a little box with a down arrow down in the lower left corner. But I don't know if it's actually downloading or where it's downloading to.

Is the arrow that is facing down in the bittorent page if it is than that means that you should be downloading?

No, it's in the browser itself. Sorry, I don't know what you call that area. I must be doing something wrong. I'll just let the long version download. I'll be asleep either way. But I really really appreciate your help. I wonder if anyone else is having problems downloading. I'll post tomorrow and let you know if it was successful. Thanks again Stumpy3!

Thank you soooo much stumpy3!!!!!I have been wanting to see the show for a very long time. I just finished watching the show, it was great to see all the kats again! I will wait for the others to watch it before I make any comments. Once again thank you so very very much.
