WOW, I made a thread!

An even bigger WOW, I read a post about a show with mongooses (mongeese?) and as I watched it THERE WAS A COMMERCIAL WITH OUR LOVELY QUEEN OF THE KALAHARI! I was so short, but so beautiful!

Yes, the show about the Mongoose was really good. I did see the commercial about flower's/Whisker's movie, but it was not while I was watching Mutual of Omaha's Mongoose show. I can't remember what show it was when I saw the commercial, 75% of the time I watch tv it is the AP channel, but it finally opened my eyes that the premiere of the movie is only a few weeks away.

Oh, I think Mongoose is referring to one Mongoose, and Mongeese is referring to the entire group or species.

Last night was the first time I had seen the commercial for Flower's movie. Hope to see it more often as we get closer to the premiere.

Hello FTMR! I was watching reruns of MM today, and they showed the movie commercial followed by a commercial for S4. I made a thread in case others haven't seen it yet, I was the first I've seen other that the little "I Feel Happy" one.

I think the little blind pup's name was Keso (not sure of the spelling). I also saw the commercial for Season 4 for the first time last night. It aired during Lemur Kingdom.

Thank you, nmf. I remember the DM's name was something like Odoo, it was sad about him and the pup.

I really liked the mongoose that watched out for the little blind pup, again, I am not good with names, but he was so sweet. He reminded me of little Shakespeare.

I am with you guys in that I really like that episode of Mutual of Omaha with the Mongoose family. It was sad that one of the pups and two adults were taken by predators, but the rest of it was really good. I have seen the commercial about the movie and season premiere of MM, is the female narrating the commercials the narrator of the show? I have heard Channing talk before, but it does not sound like the narrator for the commercials. If it is not Channing narrating the commercials, I think that female has a great voice for narrating the episodes of MM.

I have heard Stockard Channing's voice before and it did not sound like her from what I recall. I think the narrator for the commercials sounded the same as the narrator for last season's commercials.

The pup's eyes finally opened (we were told at the end of the programme). The pups are temporarily blind. Their eyes open eventually, but they go foraging before that, with a guardian. The process took longer for this particular pup.

Both commercials, for MM season 4, and the movie are short.

Thank you zettak! I guess with my worrying about the mongoose that helped the pup forage getting caught and the DM and one or two others not making it, I just didn't catch that. I was also excited about our little meerkat commercial! Yes, they go by really fast.

Yes, I think the pup was almost 2 months old before his eyes finally opened. The narrator did mention in the middle of the episode that the pups eyes had not opened "yet", meaning they knew that he was not gonna be blind his entire life, but what a lucky break the pup had to have a great guardian (I can't remember the name of his guardian) help the pup out all the time. The pups guardian truely deserves to be one of the DM of the group.

somewhat off the subject, but more and more commercials about the new movie and the next generation are appearing. I think AP is very happy about having the new season.

Do you think that Season 4 is going to be in other places besides the US?

I'm sure it's going to air in the UK where it first aired. Season 4 was promoted in the French MM website (I checked a couple of days ago). MM aired in other English speaking countries before (Canada, Australia), European countries, etc., so I guess it's going to be on again.

I do think it is shown in the UK, I think the schedule is different than ours, the names of the kats, and the narrator are different.
