Greetings, fellow Meerkat friends and family! That's what I think of the many caring, wonderful individuals I've met thru this site. My computer was down for a VERY LONG TIME and needed Level II Technical surgery so I was unable to post my questions sooner.
Does anyone know when Flower's movie is supposed to hit the theaters? Does anyone live close to central Connecticut and want to see it with me when it comes? I'd be open to hearing from anyone from Massachusetts if you're not TOO far away!
My family and friends have already made it clear that they are "not wasting their money to see rodents", so if there is no one to join me, I'll be seeing and feeling the movie alone.
It's the feeling part that I'm dreading. All of us have lost sleep over, cheered, and shed tears for brave beautiful little Flower and her family. Now, watching her shine on the Silver Screen, it would be comforting to sit beside someone who understands and cares ... and remember together.
ALSO - does anyone know anything about "Meerkat Manor, The Story Begins" airing Sunday, May 25 at 8pm, on Animal Planet?
Is this the trailer before the actual movie or what?
For what it's worth, I wish AP would reconsider and put the movie on the big screen. Flower deserves the tribute and I'm sure a lot of people would go see it...just my two cents...
Thanks for writing! I agree with you, Mozartfav, I too, was looking forward to seeing Flower on the Big Screen. I thought the movie would have a terrific impact on animal folks everywhere (like March of the Penguins) and draw alot of other individuals who might not have followed Meerkat Manor.
Does anyone know WHY the decision was made to put the movie on TV? I haven't seen alot of advertising for it. I just saw the ad by accident. Come to think of it, there hasn't been alot of advertising either (like in the past) for Season 4 that's scheduled to air here on June 6.
