The YouTube link is to the Adelaide Zoo in Australia; they have babies too, and of course they're darling - little butterballs, not at all like the Kalahari babies.

The British webcam was on for a few minutes, and then off. I couldn't reconnect like everybody else. But I managed to see them before. The pups in the other video from the Adelaide Zoo are older, and adorable of course.

Hi, yes I think I did post this link for the blair drummond zoo in another thread before. This zoo is in Scotland. The cam does seem to be disconnected at times, so for those of you who wonder, its not you or your computer maybe the meerkats knock it off sometimes! They move so quickly! And Zettak, they are very vocal! Even more than you see in MM, I was surprized at how noisy they are. I think I have mentioned before, I got to see my beloved meerkats at a zoo last august in Massachusetts, only 3 hours from my house. They are even sweeter in person. One little female, kept coming up and sitting on the ledge right where I was sitting on the other side of the glass, and she kept looking at me, but they do move so quickly, so when I was taking pictures, I got a lot of her backside, since she kept moving her head. I did however get a few beautiful shots of her face. I did see one of the zoo staff go into the side door of the meerkat exhibit and I got up to go over to him, since I wanted to ask him about the meerkats in there, however he seemed to make a hasty retreat out of the building, quess he thought I was some sort of creeper or something, trying to follow him, LOL! I just wanted to ask about the kats that I could see. Oh well, maybe next time. Anyway the blair-drummond site, had a halloween party and have neat pics of the kats, mom dad and six babies, one of them is sitting on a pumpkin. Very Cute!

They were two pups at one point, but just before the whole group (mother, father, three juveniles that were born in August, two pups) was sleeping together.

just wondering do any of you know if they are locked in that box at night, because i can hear lots of scratching, and loud/angry calls, just out of camera view. On the other hand it might be feeding time because i heard someone making those kissing noises (you know, the noise you make to your cat when your calling him/her) so it might be scratching noises on a food bowl or something.

I've heard those noises too. I hope they are safe in their box.
