My wife and I sadly agree with those who did not like the movie. It said very little about Flower and her life, the narration was week and geared towards children. We both felt that editing the past episodes would have been better than this movie. Shooting different Meerkats and calling them Flower and others, is not telling the true story, if the original raw footage was edited correctly you could have made an excellent 2 to 3 hour movie, instead if this thing you are trying to pass off on us. What you gave us was about 50 minutes of a movie and 40 minutes of commercials. I hope season 4 is noting like this movie, the 1st 3 years were great and we look forward to watching it for years to come.
Because of the weakness of this movie we will not be buying the DVD.
I really think the problem is this obession this person - who is this person - has with soaps. He is blinded to the fact that MM has grown and is strong enough to stand on its own. THIS IS FLOWER'S PLACE!
Just had a brilliant idea! To the person - again, who is he? - obsessed with soaps, try this (it works in a lot of cases): Put a rubberband around your wrist and when you feel you are becoming obessed with soaps, snap the rubber band. It will ground you and bring you back to reality. I am a social worker and have seen a lot of people overcoming obesssions in this manner. I don't say this to be nasty (really I don't) just to let you know this is an obsession and not a basis to do this to MM.
The "forever wise" bischonmom has spoken! Yes, I could pick apart a lot about the movie, but, I went into it wanting to "glimpse" into the "life" of Flower and I do feel that even with the narration that sounded like a sleepy rambling (until the end) and "name changes" (I am SO not going to go there)...I will say that I saw the rise of a Queen.
I liked the movie but i agree that they could have done much better. Still you have to admit it IS hard to work with wild animals. Let alone meerkats! The narration was, on a scale of one to ten- zero. Sean does a much better job of narration.
