I was wondering who Zaphod is the father of? How many of Flower's pups is zaphod the father of and what are their names?

I don't know who fathered Badiel, Stato, and Skinner. They could belong to any of the older males who fought for dominance after Zazu(an old dominant male) was deposed. But those three pups' history and genetics are a bit murky to me. Maybe Pronker or codyferret or someone can answer better.

Wow, 31 is a lot of pups. I know that Machu Pichu, Flo, Fin, Bananas, Busta, Orinoco and Cheetara are still around with Shakepeare, Mitch and Suggs being Lseen or missing. Now, what is up with the rest of them? Is Busta really Buster? I believe that if Cheetara were ever to become a DF, she would have one of the greatest DF names of all time!

Yes Phil, Busta is MM's 'Buster'. I agree that Cheetara is an awsome name! But knowing the producer's of MM, they'll probably change it. But I hope not

I think the producers are intelligent enough to realize if Cheetera becomes DF of a group, then they will keep that great name, it's like a football player with the last name of "Steele", or "Powers".

So can Zaphod mate with Maybelline?

Hi trazom4, That's doubtful since Zaphod was the "father figure" for the Whiskers family while Maybelline was growing up. I have heard of one case of an aunt-nephew mating, but it seems to be highly unusual. That's OK; there are plenty of eager rovers running around for Maybelline, RD, etc. Variety is usually good for the gene pool.

What about Jogu? It is impossible for me to remember who mothered "non-Flower" pups that she allowed into the mob, so I think I may be off base here. Wasn't Jogu the one that fell into the water trough? With sweet Flower being so accepting of other's pups, I can't keep up.

Yes it's true Pookie, Sookie, and Cookie were fathered by a Gattaca rover when Zaphod wasn't looking.

I wonder how many non Whiskers pups Zaphod fathered in his roving career. Too bad there isn't a simple inexpensive way to determine all of the kats paternity. That would make for some interesting data!

Yes, I'm sure Zaphod did some roving of his own...it would make for interesting data! I have always liked Zaphod, such a "cool character". I wish him well...he deserves it.
