It was pretty graphic having to see that the other night, but I don't think that I'll stop watching the show over it. It'll take more than that to get me to stop watching it all together. Sure I could always come here and read up on what happens, but it's not the same. *shrugs*

I was half asleep so everything was all blurry and weird, so it wasnt so bgad for me. All i could see was a paw, if there was more... i am glad i missed it. I could barley hear too so like, everything was so quiet so it wasnt so bad for me, but it was SAD

a good meaningfull documetary program has turned into a high budget shock tv promotion!

they have switched on the the road warrior horror soundtrack and have fixated on violence..
I know its part of a meerkats life , but im sure there was just as much gore going on in the whiskers life prior to this season but they decided to show all sides of the meerkat life instead of honing in on violence.AP just hopped on the bandwagon of the major networks knowing that violence equalls ratings!

Thank You LittleBoyMeerkat! This is exactly what I had said in the "Why Kill Meerkats" thread in which I complained that the violence is being shown FAR MORE than it really happens in real life.My wife is very close to not watching this series, after having watched the first 2 seasons. The constant worry about the baby Meerkats and the constant killing of Meerkats is NOT why we watch this show. We watch it because they are so cute & heartwarming. The violence to improve ratings will hopefully backfire. They took a wonderful series and are trying very hard to ruin it with all the unwanted death & violence!
