That's right, we're looking for New York's biggest Meerkat Manor fan for a potential interview, possibly as soon as this weekend. Are you crazy about the 'kats (but not "crazy" crazy, if you know what I mean, hehe)? Though I can't really travel far at the moment, and I'm terrible at speaking/interviews ;p

Perhaps Queenflower as well...

I believe that Queenflower would be an excellent choice as a founding member of the East Coast Meerkat Society, a vet, and a true lover of meerkats as well as the driving force behind the Staten Island Zoo meerkat enclosure renovation. She would be a perfect choice.

I think Melbacakes would be very good - she's a New Yorker through and through, though she is temporarialy living in NJ. She's also been on MM for a really long time and is very knowledgable about not just the meerkats, but MM and us fans of the show!

If they were willing to have pronker, Mae & Gracie; why not both queenflower & melbacakes?

Hopefully they will also find a way to rove to our westcoast burrow & interview our littermates there.

Hi everyone. It's been awhile since I've posted on the forum. I needed time to myself since Flower's passing and then after the forum was changed I was unable to log on for a long time. Anyway, I just wanted to let everyone know that Nightline (the ABC news show) is coming to my house tomorrow morning to interview me about Meerkat Manor, my love for Flower, meerkats in general and the East Coast Meerkat Society. Apparently they are doing a major segment on Meerkat Manor which will air shortly (perhaps as soon as this Friday). I will let you know when I know the details. I hope I can clearly articulate how special the meerkats are to us and how Flower has touched the lives of us all forever without breaking down in tears. Wish me luck.

If anyone has photos of themselves at a meerkat enclosure with people they met as part of a Meerkat Meetup, please post the link where your photos are at, as well as the name of the zoo and date of the meetup, so that we can pass along the photos & info to ABC.

I have a nice one of us at the SF Zoo. I'm currently hunting for the 9/29 LA Zoo photos, and I hope QF has copies of the SI Dedication photos.
