WE HAVE MORE BABIES!!! Erin's bunny had babies (Obsidian had babies with our bunny Sage). We didn't know until around 4pm today. Keith found 2 dead things in the kitchen and once me and my mom got home we noticed they were new born bunnies!!! I went to check for more in the cage and found one by the bottom step (where I usually step but I thought it was poo so I didn't step on it) then my mom found one at the top of the stairs by the garage door and Erin found the last one behind the cage (plesenta and umbilical cord still attached. We cut it off though). Those three we wrapped in towels and cleaned them up then warmed them up even more and took pictures. They way less than an ounce!!! So far we have a black on (Onix, he's the one I found and I want to keep. Also the most hyper), a white one (Lucky, the one my mom found and wants to keep and it has a missing toe), and one that is multi-colored like Sage is (No named, Erin's keeping it since she cut it's umbilical crd and she found it). The cats had taken the babies out and played with them, luckily 3 survived this little fiasco.

The baby bunnies died on Wednesday =[. They were perfectly fine the day before, I even got video of Onix trying to hop like a big bunny. Then the next morning Lucky wasn't doing good and died after I went to class (Erin was taking care of them while I was at school) and Onix and No Name died later that day after we tried to feed them and keep them warm. Onix died and Harry did CPR and brought him back but he died again as did No Name. They only lived for 3 days. Atleast we made them happy in their short lives. If the cats hadn't taken them out of the cage we think they all would've lived.

Waaa, poor you! That's so sad. Try keeping yr bunnies apart or getting them fixed unless yr planning on babies! If u are, take the proper steps to good bunny care, and they should b fine. I breed bunnies, so I have experiance with this.

If you want to have baby bunnies be prepared. Get the cats away! They don't want to just play with the babies they may want to actually hurt them and claim them as their prize.
