maybe its just making a nice warm area for her young to live in because you have no burrows. Maybe if the cage is lightweight, keep it in the ground so they can live in their own habitat and still you own it. Who knows you might B a grandpa very soon. Good luck

hey, i brought a rabit a long time ago, and when i got her home she started doing that, she gatheres shredded newpaper i put in there and put it in a corner in there sheltered part of there cage, then she pulled heaps of her hair out n put it in there to. not long after she had 4 little babies. turns out she was pregnet when i brought her. they were adorable. dont take her fur out or anything, just leave her to do as she pleases, hopefully thats why shese doing it, sounds just like what happend to me though, so thats was i suspect. Good luck Smile

She is probably pregnant but also female rabbits that are around males and have mated may not get pregnant right away they mey experience a fake pregnancy where the rabbit thinks she is pregnant and will act like it. One of my rabbits has had two fake pregnancies so they can happen but most likely she is pregnant. Take the male out! even if there is just a fake pregnancy the female gets agressive during it and can hurt the male. Until her babies have grown keep the male away from the female for safety reasons. Also increase the females food she is eating for more than one!
