I know some rats need baths now and again but how often and what kind of shampoo do I use?

from wat i read u use mild kitten shampoo. LOL i put my rat in the tub with some water in it just up to his "wrists" he wasnt tp happy he was literally jump up to grab my arm and shimmy out

cute! I heard once a week with mild human shampoo. or maybe kids shampoo. I will try the kitten stuff. I am still open to new answers too though

Use a mild pet shampoo. There is some for ratties and ferrets for like $3.00 no need to be bathed too often maybe once avaery 2 weeks with soap and once a week with just warm water

Hello. I have a small rattery in Ohio. As of right now, we'v downsized until we move into a house, but we bathe our 13 rats once every month or two. We use a mild dog/puppy shampoo. It's oatmeal, so it's good for the skin and extremely mild.
