I have a cage that I used to cage my rabbits when they were babies and I also used it as an add-on to their HUGE rabbit cage as adults and I was wondering if it will fit two rats. I am going to put screen on it so they can't fit through the bars, which they could easily. The measurements are: 20" wide, 32" long and 17" tall. Thanks everyone!
That should be plenty big. We have one rat, Akito, who's fat and lazy and lives in a normal sized aquarium tank (the smallest one the stores sell that they also have hamsters in) and we added a cage top to it so he has two level. There had been two rats living in the cage (Nioko and Taji... Taji died so Akito took his place and then Nioko died so) and they found it fine.
